I recently dined at Tijuana, and I have to say, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the moment we stepped in, the restaurant felt uncomfortably cold. It was as if the air conditioning was set to “arctic blast,” making it hard to enjoy anything. Several other guests seemed to feel the same way, as I saw people sitting with their jackets on while eating. I asked the waitress to increase temperature but she denied saying it cant be done.
As for the food, we waited for almost 45 minutes to get our food. And when it arrived, I wish I could say it was worth enduring the chill, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. We ordered quesadillas, soup and fajitas. Both quesadillas and soup arrived lukewarm at best. It made me wonder how long the plates had been sitting before being brought to the table. In addition the food taste was okish too for both quesadillas and soup
To top it all off, I was shocked to see that gratuity had been automatically added to the bill. While I understand this is standard in some cases, it felt completely unwarranted given the poor quality of both the food and the service. I typically tip generously, but being forced to pay extra when the experience was so underwhelming left a sour taste in my mouth—literally and figuratively.
Overall, Tijuana needs to address several issues, from maintaining a comfortable room temperature to serving food at the proper temperature and reconsidering their gratuity policy when the service clearly doesn’t justify it. I won’t be returning...

If you’re in Condado Beach and craving a margarita that’ll knock your flip-flops off, look no further than Tijuana’s Bar and Grill! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The margaritas here are simply fantastic—perfectly balanced with just the right mix of tang and sweetness, they’re the kind of drink you’ll be thinking about long after the glass is empty. Seriously, these margaritas are a must-try, whether you're a seasoned margarita lover or just dabbling in the art of tequila.
But the magic doesn’t stop there! The Tacos Al Pastor were an absolute revelation. Each bite was bursting with flavor—the tender, marinated pork paired with the sweetness of pineapple and a hint of spice made these tacos unforgettable. It’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and savor every single bite.
And let’s talk about the bartender—what a gem! Not only did they mix up some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while, but they also made the whole experience fun and welcoming. Great conversation, perfect recommendations, and a few laughs along the way—what more could you ask for?
Tijuana’s Bar and Grill isn’t just a place to grab a meal; it’s a place where you can kick back, enjoy some incredible food and drinks, and really soak in the good vibes of Condado Beach. This spot has definitely earned a spot on my must-visit list whenever I’m in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend! 🌮🍹🌟
Hope this captures the vibe...
Read moreNo... Just NO. I'm giving two stars because my bartender Edgar was absolutely amazing! He was very friendly and attentive and HE deserves FIVE stars. The food on the other hand was dismal. $20 for nachos with tough beef and cheese that was so hard I could hardly chew it... and total of about 15 tortilla chips. Not good. I had to ask Edgar for more chips to go with my nachos and he was happy to supply them. The margaritas were good. The food was NOT. And I looked forward to coming to this place. But the absolute WORST part was the obnoxious loud singer in the corner. My ears were literally ringing when I left. It wasn't just me who complained. Even the people next to me complained that the music was obnoxious. I will not return. There are many better options in Condado. If you are the manager reading this please know that Edgar the bartender was amazing! The food and entertainment was not. Trying to enjoy dinner with music that loud and obnoxious is...
