Verbena Food Fair — Restaurant in San Juan

Ordered a "Mojito with Passion Fruit" juice and it tasted just like straight up juice, the alcohol seemed to be not present. I asked the bartender if she could add a shot of Bacardi so that at least it tasted like a real Mojito and unbelievably she was going to charge me for a full drink. Ordered a "House Ceviche" and the serving (for it its price) was disappointing. To top it off...ordered two "Pizza Empanadas" and after a long wait for them (45+ minutes) they had forgotten about my order; suddenly they came up with the two empanadas from the window display (Who knows when they were cooked). I asked the person who served me the old empanadas to make them fresh, she then placed them on the counter behind a frozen margarita's machine and left them there while she asked the cook to make the fresh ones. Meanwhile, another bartender grabbed the old empanadas again and served them to me again. I told the lady that those were ther old empanadas that the other lady served me and that I was waiting for the fresh ones; she replied that those were the fresh empanadas; I told her no they weren't. She proceeded to throw them in the garbage with an attitude. This lady with the attitude went to get the lady that originally took my order to tell her what had happened. The lady that took my order, told me that they were the fresh ones and the old ones she had thrown them away. I explained to her that I tracked those empanadas since she took them out from the display window. All of the sudden, the cook came out with the fresh empanadas, I pointed out to them how wrong they were. At this point, I was so frustrated that I had to ask for the money that I paid for the empanadas. This place has a bad atmosphere due to the rudeness and lack of customer service from its employees towardsthe customer, and of course...their food, drinks & total...

Came here for food after qe couldn't get in at la central for an hour and a half and didnt want to wait. Wish we would have just waited for the good food and service. We ordered 2 chicken carbonara pastas here, waited probably 30 min for them to bring out ONE AND inform us they only had 1 and asked if they could make us a pizza for the other one instead. This place is a joke. While the food is just average, the real problem is the terrible service and lack of care in food preparation. The empanada I ordered was full of grease—the cook didn’t even bother to drain it after frying. It was disgusting. On top of that, the server had a horrible attitude and seemed annoyed when I asked for a fork and napkins—basic items she forgot to provide. Some people just shouldn’t work in the hospitality industry, and she is a prime example. Avoid this place if you value good service or...
