TLDR: Excellent brunch spot! Recommend reservations for Sat/Sun brunch, filled up very quickly. (Our party of 5 w/ a reservation was seated on time @ 9 am, but restaurants was at capacity within the hour.)
The rest: Food itself was fine, on par with other places at that price point. Both items I ordered leaned toward overly sweet, but I'm open to returning to try an omelette, etc. Fruit & veggies were very fresh, which I appreciated.
Service was good, with water & drinks refreshed while waiting for food. Waitress was attentive & professional.
A frustration was the automatic 18% gratuity was applied to our party of 5. A technicality perhaps, but when your menu says gratuity added for parties of 6 or more, it should be that. (If you want it to start at 5, then say 5. Fine. But don't say 6+, & then charge at 5.)
Where they truly excelled was plating: presentation of food was amazing, beautifully plated, interesting/chic drink/dishware. I enjoyed the thought put into the decor & ambiance, & liked the detail throughout, even if the plethora of fake flowers were a bit much (IMO, obvs).
My only real complaint was that the bar didn't open until 10:30. As a brunch restaurant, with a delightfully fresh cocktail menu (including mimosas!), minimum the bar should be staffed during opening hours on the weekends. I get not staffing the bar for weekdays until lunch-ish, but with the potential alcohol has for increasing revenue per table/patron, & weekend brunch essentially = cocktails by default (for non-Mormons, anyway lol), I really don't understand why they wouldn't staff for that extra 5 hrs/wk (8-10:30 am Sat/Sun) on weekends, particularly in a Draper-adjacent location.
That aside, it was a good experience. Yes, there was a wait for food (~ half an hour), but it was made to order, fresh & well-presented. I didn't come for a quick in & out, I came for the experience, & would love to come again when the bar is...

I recommend reservations if you don’t want to wait or don’t want to sit at the bar.
I read some reviews before going and consistently most people complained about the temperature of the food and drinks.
We sat at the bar because we don’t want to wait 45-50 min for a table of two. We Were greeted nicely. Our waitress was very attentive to us. Despite the bar tender being in her way to serve or take our order she did come around and speak with us.
We ordered cafe de olla. She did recommend no cream or sugar as it is already sweet. 5/5 loved it, perfect. I can see where people feel like it’s not hot. It is like warm. I like my coffee hot. My mom on the other hand thought it was a perfect temperature. So it depends on the person. But I can agree with those who said the coffee was cold.
I wanted to taste the Mexican bread and she said it would be cheaper to get the basket the just one. And thinking about it. 12 dollars for basket of bread vs only one. The one bread must be expensive unless they don’t sell it by the piece.
The bread was good but I couldn’t get over the smell. More the concha than the other bread. It smelled like queso cotija. I am not sure if it’s next to the bread or near it and the bread just absorbed the Smell. Turn off for me. The orejitas (palmier) bread was really good.
I ordered the normal breakfast eggs and bacon. Again. Not hot just slightly warm. The bacon was THIICCCK!!! I Liked the potatos and the eggs. The bread is meh. It wasn’t toasted enough for me, no butter on it. I think they need to switch this up to something else. You do have an option of tortillas also.
My mom had green chilaquiles. I thought they tasted delicious. Was not spicy. Seasoned well. My mom also enjoyed them. But they get soggy quick!
Maybe less and add beans on the side?
Ambiance is cute. I liked the decor. The staff again were friendly. I’d like to come back and try other plates...
Read moreThe positive: it is a cozy new place with an appealing decor. And the kindness of the hostesses.
The negative: Although we made a reservation at a time, our table took more than 40 minutes after to be ready.
From there I started timing the services and: It took 10 minutes 54 seconds to get our drinks. Counting from the moment I saw the server leaving the server station after finishing using the computer. It took 55 minutes and three seconds to get our plates on the table. And again, I only started after I saw our waitress finishing using the computer after taking our orders.
Food: the meals had good presentation, but they were not hot and the flavor was very basic.
Service: the server would not greet, would only come to the table to apologize for the delay and come to check on our table two times to ask how everything is and leave while we were answering. She was basically a food runner. We were there for more than one hour and ten minutes and she would not ask if we wanted to have our drinks refilled, until we asked her to. She would not offer the check. I felt that I had to look for the cashier to close the bill.
What they did as service recovery: after waiting almost 45 minutes to get a table, more than 10 minutes for our drinks and having waited other 40 minutes to get our meals, they brought us a basket of 3 pieces of pastries while waiting for our main course.
Final notes: I understand they are starting and they did not plan the flow of guest accordingly. But they should have planned in advance training for their staff. Too many people, but lacking of productivity and costumer service skills.
This place is 25 minutes away from home, and I will only give it a shot if in the future they open a new location, until then I do not recommend and wouldn’t be back, sadly.
Besides all that, it seems that either a robot replies the reviews or they reply using ChapGPT. I hope they...
