Ambiance | 4/5 | It's a very trendy coffee shop in the Paseo Nuevo shopping center with deck seating on State Street and benches indoors. If you're looking for the picture worthy drinks that are really done up presentation-wise, don't come to this location. They have two other locations on Haley (3pm close) and Arlington (1pm close, upper State St) that do that. I just came in and ordered a pumpkin spice latte that I've been looking forward to all day. I usually love Caje and always say great things about them. But today I asked for a decaf latte and I got a regular latte with caffeine! This is a really big deal as I have a condition that doesn't allow me to have caffeine. I'm very upset because I didn't figure out that it was caffeinated until I'd already taken a few sips. I will be up all night literally! My heart is racing and I'm hoping that I don't have to now take medication to calm my heart. So very disappointed in my service. Good atmosphere and music, design is very curve-like and chill. Service is quick, there are many different payment methods and I got my drink maybe 5 minutes after I came in. The lids, sweeteners, and straws are all self service, which probably makes it a lot easier to manage. There is plenty of room to sit and I think there is also more space outside on State St. Barista and cashier were nice, it was a man with long curly hair and a girl with brown hair. I got a matcha latte and there is nothing to complain about. If it is not worth $6 to you then you should make matcha lattes at home.
