Lighthouse Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

Before heading back to LA, my wife was in the mood for a coffee and sandwich. We had no idea where to go. So, she searched for a nearby café and noticed a nice coffee house with five stars!!! But, it only had one review, from Kathy M. So, like the risk taker that I am, we set off to go to this Lighthouse Café, with one review. I get to the shop, the gentleman greeted us and I ordered the muffin breakfast sandwich and a latte. The wife just got a small cappuccino. The sandwich was amazing! Crispy bacon, ripe avocado, & the scrambled egg was cooked to perfection. Love this place. The converted auto-shop vibe, with the panorama posters of Santa Barbara create a pleasant ambience. That they don't crank the music to an ungodly level enhances the environment all the more. The products offered are above average to top-shelf. What makes this place a keeper is the staff. From Nick to Josh to Kaya and Beth and all the rest- every one is a pleasure to interact with and more than competent. Of course... Germán is the man! You have a very disrespectful female employee being negative towards some of your customers saying negative statements to them. Being someone who when in town to drop by and get some coffee and a bite to eat and in the process hear an employee to talk to someone as a customer the way she did. I don't plan on patronizing this establishment as long as she is employed and represents this business. We will not support you and will share what we experienced from her ugly words and actions.
