Longoria On State — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

Longoria is a beautiful spot for some yummy wine tasting!! They have indoor, patio and people watching seating! Located on State Street a few doors down from McConnell's Ice Cream.

We got the Longoria's Latest Tasting Menu and all the wines were so great! They were better and better the further down the list we went. I normally like more sweet wines. These were all delicious! The 2023 Graciano had a great black pepper spicy taste to it. That was my fave of the group.

We also got the cheese plate, curated by local Santa Barbara Cheese Shop. 3 types of cheese, crackers, grapes, dried apricots and yummy fig butter. All delicious!

The interior is beautiful with elegant and cute/fun splashes. There's also karaoke and a small stage for live music.

The most important thing to note was the AMAZING AMAZING service from Sam. From the moment I walked in and throughout our tastings, he was professional, personable and just great all around. Make sure to look for him!

5 stars for Sam, our host, who is the nicest person we met in a very long time! Also 5 stars for the wonderful Pinot Noir we were served. Before Longoria wines moved in, it used to be Wine Therapy. While we didn't like their wines and service, the ambiance was a lot cozier and the couches very comfortable. The new decor is beautiful, but it is a bit cold and the rounded couches are extremely uncomfortable and narrow. It is not something we want to sit at for a long time (something interior decorators should pay attention to!). Also, when we asked for cheese and crackers, we were told they ran out. We want Longoria wines and Sam to thrive and stay alive, so hopefully they can bring some warm lighting to the place and...

Brent was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He made the planning process easy and enjoyable. And on the day of the event, both Sam and Brent were the perfect hosts—attentive, gracious, and full of positive energy.

The venue itself is perfection. The interior had just the right vibe for our wedding party—stylish, intimate, and inviting. The wine tasting was a highlight, with a fantastic assortment that everyone raved about.
