Date night inspo comin’ in hot! James and I recently enjoyed a delicious farm-to-table meal at the Dragon Room when we ordered off of @thepinkadobesfe New Mexican Cajun menu! Both the Tournedos Bordelaise and Rack of Lamb were absolute showstoppers. For my drink, I sipped on their new “Think Cosmo” - a delicious twist on a classic! They also have a full bar and can make mocktails on request. And while my all-time favorite Santa Fe cocktail, the Black Dragon, is no longer on the menu, The Dragon Room bartenders are still happy to whip one up. We also got to try Doña Tules Single Barrel Agave Espadin and Pacifica, which can only be found at The Dragon Room! The Dragon Room is open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday — no reservations needed. They also offer a social hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm every day! Social Hour specials include 15% off all food items, a silver coin margarita for $10, a glass of house red or white wine for $8, or draft beer for $7. Exciting news for Santa Fe! The Dragon Room at The Pink Adobe is ready to REOPEN on Tuesday, September 26, 2023! 🎉  Late last year, @thepinkadobesfe and The Dragon Room were purchased by The Inn of @thefivegraces, and they both were closed for upgrades and renovations. The Pink Adobe restaurant opened back up at the end of May, and I have been stalking their social media for information about The Dragon Room reopening ever since! The aesthetic inside is familiar yet elevated. Romantic candles now line the fireplace and two stunning green and blue Chihuly chandeliers hang from the ceiling. The eclectic colorfully hand painted-tables are now covered with white linens and the television screens have been taken down from the walls. Once they reopen on Tuesday, September 26, The Dragon Room will be open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tuesday through Sunday. They’ll also offer a social hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm every day! Social Hour specials include 15% off all food items, a silver coin margarita for $10, a glass of house red or white wine for $8, or draft beer for $7. We ordered their Chips Trio appetizer (now $19) and I started with their Smokey Nose Margarita ($19) made with Ojo de Tigre Mescal, Cointreau, Blood Orange & Citrus, Lava Salt and a Campari Float. It was the closest I found to my former favorite, the Black Dragon, but overall too smoky for my taste. I followed that up with their social hour Silver Coin Margarita ($15 when it’s not social hour) which was tasty! If you need a refresher, they are located at 📍406 Old Santa Fe Trail in, right next to Rio Chama. The Dragon Room was one of the first spots I fell in love with in Santa Fe when I moved here just shy of ten years ago. It holds a special place in my heart and is where I met some of my friends for the first time and had my second date with my husband, where we shared our first kiss! Absolutely loved the vibes here. Came with friends and immediately spotted the Chihuly chandeliers. Gorgeous. The rest of the deco and vibes just made this a place we could have hung out at all night. We just came for drinks, which were mostly good. One of my friends got a mezcal cocktail that tasted like mezcal on the rocks and she wasn't able to drink it. Suggest to ask your waiter about the cocktails profile before ordering.

What a memorable night! Went for part of Happy Hour and stayed for part of live music -- Jesus Vez, Spanish guitar, phenomenal! We were greeted warmly when we entered, and we got a great seat near the music. This is the bar on the side of Pink Adobe. Staff are so gracious and warm. The "dragon" is a gorgeous deep blue, large light fixture. Food was delicious -- had guacamole prepared tableside (with steak added), and had tacos (two mushroom, one carne asada). Beautiful atmosphere. We looked briefly into Pink Adobe as well, and looks like a beautiful place with happy customers. On Santa Fe, between the Loretto and the state capitol. We’d tried to go to The Pink Adobe (3 Jan ‘25) but did not have reservations. The Host referred us to the Dragon Room & personally escorted us over. Our server Melvin was accommodating, personable, great recommendations & overall fantastic! The host from the Pink Adobe came by during our dinner to check on us & our dining experience!! The professional follow through was off the charts! Highly recommend this...
