the way to rate Mexican food burritos for me is to order a carne asada burrito and see if it is more or less than $10, if it is more than $10 it better be excellent taste and full of ingredients, the carne asada burrito at this place came just under $10 so by giving them a $10 bill it's a nice easy transaction with maybe a dime in change, I give it five stars because the meat was tender and just by looking at the black peppers on the meat you can tell they took their time with the flavor as it was the trademark carne asada burrito taste that you would expect in San Diego, there was plenty of guacamole mixed inside of it not just flavored but you could actually taste the guacamole separate from the meat which is very nice, it is priced just perfectly they could probably get a little bit over $10 for it because of the flavor but you're not looking at the biggest carne asada burrito you can find, it is perfectly sized probably a couple ounces less than Albert's Mexican food in lakeside a tiny bit less than sombreros and quite a bit bigger than Los panchos or La posta's carne asada burrito and they are all well over $10, can't wait to try the other food it is a five star so far because I have judged the effort and flavor and size and price all together...

I had heard about Soriana's and considering how many taco shops we gave in Santee, I was curious how this one compared. So I ordered Carne Asada chips and a carnitas taco. Food 5 stars- chips were crispy and fresh, serving size was pretty big, carnitas was the perfect blend of crispy and soft. Both items were freshly prepared and flavorful with presentation in actual dishes- plate and bowl. Service 5 Stars - after placing my order I sat to wait and considering this is a taco shop I was surprised when my order was brought to my table not just called from the counter. Atmosphere was typical decor for a taco shop. Along with a moderate amount of seating for large or small groups. TV was on but at a reasonable level of volume. The tables, floors and countertops were all clean. Self serve soda station, refills don't include Agua frescas- that's customary. I didn't take a bunch of pics because there were other customers. I tried to find something wrong but all was 5 star. The counter at the soda station has a repair but that didn't affect my visit-the flaws were only cosmetic. I will eat here again.

Wow! I'm liking this place. The food is very good and I can't believe this is the first time I came here for food. I went for a carne asada with chorizo burrito and I gotta admit, it was delicious. If you dine in, you get complimentary chips. The prices on their menu is not bad as the quality of the items are worth it. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. I should have taken a picture of my burrito, but scarfed it down way to quickly and got about it.

Their chicken is different then traditional pollo asado, I like it better! Their fish batter is very tasty. Their Carnesade is like a medium well done steak. Their chips aren't greasy; greasy food is a turn off for me, so yeah there great. Their carnitas are moist, and I've yet to get an over done order. Their corn tortillas thankfully don't have any kind of funky musty flavor. Their flour tortillas are cooked to perfection; no rubber texture.

Overall I would definitely recommend Sorianas.

P.S Nothing is perfect. I've had bad experiences at pretty much every place I've ever frequented. Also, every place has things they excel at, and things they do not excel at. But as for Sorianas they are very...
