A relatively new spot in downtown Savannah, GA, that specializes in Espanades. The staff were incredibly polite and professional, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything looked. The display case was tidy, with a nice variety of options to choose from.

In my opinion, the prices were a bit on the higher side, and I didn’t experience the “wow” factor I was hoping for. The cookies, for instance, were just sweet without much depth or complexity in flavor—simply not my cup of tea.

But I want to say that I gave this place a second and even a third chance, and now I’m absolutely thrilled. For me, it’s important that the empanadas cool down and are just slightly warm—that’s when I can fully enjoy them. When I tried them for the first time, they were very hot, I burned myself, and I couldn’t taste the flavors at all. So, if you didn’t like the empanadas, try waiting about 15 minutes next time to let them cool down—you might enjoy...

I heard about this place from my husband and thought "wow, empanadas in Savannah, finally!" Unfortunately the expectation didn't get fulfilled by the product. Although they were juicy, they lacked seasoning, and that included salt. I tried their cheesy beef and spinach, and both needed cheese and salt. The dough was the only saving grace. I also had the carrots cake and apple cake, and they too were underwhelming. The carrot cake tasted like the cooler and the gritty texture you get from plain sugar being on the apple cake is distracting. Also I tasted more lemon then apple which is very odd since it was an apple cake. I can honestly say I felt like I wasted my money and will not...

Visited in January 2025, twice so far (and more to come). This cozy spot is a hidden gem we didn’t discover until recently. Their empanadas are amazing and worth the trip. Their labeling for which is which is pretty cool too. Right amount of filling, low amount of grease, great amount of dough. It is so easy to grab 2-3 and have a good meal out of it. We ended up buying some frozen to bake at a later date ourselves! Coffee and tea options work well, they do make decaf lattes for those wanting a light kick instead. Has two different pastries (raspberry and almond) which were tasty as well. Service is excellent, and will absolutely be coming back often to this place.
