I need to know why your establishment charged me 48 extra dollars 10 days ago, and still haven't addressed it/ returned it.
I've tried contacting your business on social media, contacting Peregrin directly, and have contacted Perry Lane.
I've either been given emails that bounce, or have been ignored outright. It has been 10 days since I've been charged an extra 48 dollars on top of my 55 dollar bill. I have the bank statement to prove it. I can point directly to the drink items I ordered that night that equal the amount I paid, and why this extra charge doesn't make sense. At this point it feels like theft.
I've read several other accounts of this happening to people at Peregrin. So 1) I want to know what is going on, and 2) I want my money back. Your business was never entitled to it, and had no right to take it. The audacity to ignore people that you've outrageously overcharged.
This isn't right. Shame on you for caring this little about your patrons (one of which you've most certainly lost as a future customer). Your Customer Service is abysmal, and no view is worth the shoddy, overpriced drinks with a...
Read moreThe Peregrin Rooftop at the Perry Lane Hotel is an awesome place to grab a drink while taking in a great view of Savannah. The atmosphere is welcoming and the vibe is cool whether you are sitting at the bar (which is beautiful) or sitting at one of the booths/conversation pits that come complete with a fireplace feature. The place was recommended to us by our server at The Collins Quarter (another Savannah gem and must visit) and my wife and I have been twice now, once at night and once in the late afternoon. Both were great. Richard, our bartender during our most recent visit, was welcoming, knowledgeable and makes a nice craft cocktail. Richard also made recommendations of other places to visit and was just a solid friendly bartender/host during our time at The Peregrin. Thanks, Richard. We had just eaten at Sorry Charlie's prior to our visit, but the food we saw come out of the kitchen looked appealing and worth trying. We'll...
Read moreAs a Savannah resident, I really enjoy Peregrin’s rooftop vibe. However, the several times that I’ve tried to go recently, I’m stopped immediately at the host stand and told that I need a reservation—just to stand and drink at the bar. For example, on Monday of this week at around 6 PM, I brought my dad (visiting from Ohio) and my husband to have a drink or two to enjoy the nice weather. The bar was sparsely populated, and there were several standing tables (i.e. no chairs in sight) that were completely empty nearby. Yet the hostess very matter-of-factly explained that due to upcoming reservations, we would need to wait 45 minutes JUST to stand and order a drink at the bar, and would I like her to text me and let me know when we could come in? I politely said “no thank you” and we headed to another rooftop, where we walked right in without issue.
I have experienced this more than once at Peregrin. I plan to patronize other establishments...
