Orleans Square is one of twenty two squares the are located in the downtown area of Savannah Georgia. Unlike many of the other squares there are no large monuments or statues. There is however a water fountain and just like in my video today, is turned green for the time of the Saint Patrick's day festivities. Although not as popular as some other of the squares it is not far off the beaten path. I have passed through many times over the years and the landscaping is always very asthletically pleasing to the eyes and at night is very well lit for safety. It is also right next door to the Savannah Civic Center so parking is easily accessible. There are very many hotels in the area and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The fountain in the center was gently flowing, and the big oak trees with Spanish moss made it really beautiful.
