Good docent led tour by Richard.
That being said, HFH allowed too many people on tour. (#21) Spread out so far that we could not hear docent or questions at front. Should have limited or split group in two.
But of most concern was how we were crowded in with strangers standing literally shoulder to shoulder. Unwise with possible COVID aerosol molecules suspended in air.

_(After reading response) Cold attorney-like defensive statement signed with contradictory "warm regards." Nothing warm about recitation of CDC. You should not STUFF twenty-one people into small rooms. Plain and simple, you were in the wrong to do so. We have been traveling the USA for ten months. You are the ONLY tour out of hundreds that we have been on to pull this. Poorly done...followed by poor response. Maybe you are the same person who took call from future groom and proceeded to make fun of him to all who would listen once off...
Read moreRude workers! I try to never do bad reviews but I have to write something for this tour. The actual house was very nice but the tour was not even close to good. They had a female at the entrance that acted like we worked for her. She acted rudely towards us multiple times on situations that she could handle way better. The other person there was a male & he was just as rude. He acted like he was annoyed by us the whole time. The customer service was NOT there at all. At the end we should have been able to hang out by the garden like stated online but the female said they had a "medical emergency" & we had to leave. They closed at like 1pm and posted time is 4pm. I feel bad for the other people with us because they actually paid full price for that. We used Groupon and got over half off our price and I'm so so...
Read moreOn one of my random days off I decided to walk around the downtown Savannah area and happened to stumble upon this house. There wasn't much signage to indicate what it was but i did notice a small sign for tours. I decided to go in on a whim and it was very much worth it.
Savannah has a lot of history that doesn't get talked about too often, the curators and guides at the Harper Fowlkes house know their stuff and tell it like it is (or was). The house itself is beautiful with every aspect being an important piece of history. From the wood in the floors to the rare style of ceiling in the dining room.
Tourist or local, I would go check this out...
