I'm SCREAMIN about Mimi's Pizza! 🍕 FOOD> I had a Greek salad with no banana peppers and Italian dressing with a slice 🍕 of mushrooms pizza. The slices are HUGE from their 18" pizza and the mushrooms were fresh. The crust was light as air and crispy and had the perfect amount of cheese sauce and toppings. It tasted like pizza I've had in Italy and New York! MAGNIFICO The salad was delicious with two kinds of olives tomatoes, onions, and normally it has banana peppers on it. The Greek dressing was Ken's and they gave us 2 packets LOCATION> This was in a bustling little shopping center just a short very enjoyable and scenic walk from our hotel the AC Marriott on the River front. ATMOSPHERE> This cool shop reminds me of pizza parlors in New York City for sure! There is a beautiful tribute to Mimi and the chefs making the pie are right there in the mix. The counter is covered with fun stickers from all around. The restaurant has a fun cool local energetic vibe. SERVICE> The sweet Gal at the counter was friendly and helped us navigate our first time. You order at the counter then have a seat anywhere. NOTE: There are a few tables outside as well to enjoy. VALUE> If I lived here or had taken an Air BNB with a fridge I DEFINITELY would have gotten a whole pizza to nosh on, but as I only had a modest hotel fridge I happy went for a slice option. The price for the cheese slice was only $4.85 and it was .95 for the extra topping The large salad was $13.01 but it was HUGE!!!! We literally feasted on it As a little Gal one slice and salad was the perfect meal. I will definitely be dreaming about that pizza for a minute, will be heading back to Mimi's, and screamin about how delicious it is Mangia!

We came here based on the reviews. Arrived late into town as tourists and wanted something easy and quick. Service was quick and friendly. It quickly became apparent that it won’t be quick because they were popular and busy. Wait time was about 30 min for 1 large pizza, baked ziti and Greek salad. The Greek salad ingredients were iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives and feta cheese. The dressing should have brought it all together but all it tasted was just vinegar. Seasoning was sorely lacking from a true Greek salad like garlic, pepper and herbs. I wouldn’t have expected much by the website list this salad as a recommendation. It also recommended the baked ziti and that was disappointing. I appreciated the amount of cheese and the meatball was pleasant. But the sauce should have brought it all together and it was bland. This must have been the pizza sauce because the pizza tasted the same, and lacked in quantity of cheese. Almost like they forgot to put it on. I really don’t understand the reviews. Was this a bad night? Or do people don’t know their pizza? I felt Dominos and Papa John’s have better pizza. This is suppose to be Jersey pizza and if it is I’ll never eat pizza there. I’ve been to New York and I know how pizza should taste there and this place would go out of business there. I gave 2 stars for friendliness and service.

I recently moved from NJ where we all know the pizza is phenonemal. I could eat pizza almost every day, and I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob. Of course, when I found Screamin' Mimi's I had to be the judge of the "Jersey Style". I had already come to terms with the fact that I was giving up 1 of my favorite foods on the planet when we moved here, but thanks to Screamin' Mimi's I found a little gem to write home about. I was so pleasantly surprised at how palatable and actually delicious it was. Their website says Atlantic City and Philly are in the DNA. I believe it! Go git you some! And, if you're here from up north and are missing your weekly staple, miss it no more and just go! They will not disappoint, pinky swear!!!

I was excited to try this place based on the solid reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing — not because of the food, but because of the customer service.

As someone visiting from out of town, I called in to place an order and had a few basic questions. The woman who answered the phone sounded annoyed from the start, rushed me through the order, and acted like I was a bother for asking simple questions about the menu. When I asked for the total, she abruptly hung up on me — no total, no confirmation, nothing. To make matters worse, the online ordering was down, so I had no way of checking prices myself.

Still, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and showed up to pick up the order. Unfortunately, the poor attitude continued. The same woman at the register barely acknowledged me, seemed irritated, and quoted me a total of $60 for two small pizzas — with no explanation. At that point, I decided not to spend my money at a business that treats customers like they’re an inconvenience.

Great pizza or not, no one should feel disrespected just for trying to place an order. I won’t be returning, and I’ll make sure friends and family know to avoid this place. There are plenty of spots offering better pizza with friendly, respectful service — and for way less than $60. The customer experience here seriously...
