We were visiting Amelia Island, FL from Michigan and decided to take a day trip to Savannah. After hitting up BRCC for coffee, I took my two sons to the Webb Museum (ages 18 and 13). We knew it was a fairly small building, and thought it might be kind of cool...but we really didn’t know what to expect. We were BLOWN away by the content and quality. So many amazing, unique, historical and personal items. We could have spent much longer here...and wish we did.

We actually bought our tickets from the owners daughter. She was amazing. Sweet, helpful and knowledgeable.

My son was purchasing a souvenir on the way out, and the owner himself walked in! That was so great. I wish I could have stayed and talked to him for hours. He was super cool and I am SO thankful that he is sharing his collection with the world. It would have been great to actually do a tour of the museum with him. Some of the stories he was telling us about his collection were insane.

But we all learned a lot. And we saw many things we’d never seen or even heard of before. There were literally too many cool items to list. I sincerely hope we get the chance to come back some day and see the collection (and...

I stopped by here after a tour guide for Old Town Trolley tour mentioning it as her favorite museum in the city. It didn't disappoint! It ended up being far more interesting than any historic house museum or other things I saw on my trip. The museum may be smaller than most but it is full of SUCH a wide variety of artifacts. You can take a look at newspapers about the attack on Pearl Harbor (in plastic folders), Confederate money, a shirt Bob Hope wore during his Vietnam tour, a horse gas mask, and even a painting from Saddam Hussein's palace. I think that every time I came upon a new display case I audibly gasped or awed over something. It's that kind of place! I can't express how many details and interesting things there are to look at in this place! Plus I spoke with the owner while I was there. He was so kind and welcoming, and clearly has such a deep interest in the subject area. Just go there, seriously. It is SUCH a neat...

Had a great time at this museum! The owner gave us a speech and sent us to explore. I have to say I don't enjoy military museums yet I have history buffs in the family, so I tend to visit places like this a lot BUT, I had a great time! There was so much to see, you could easily spend 2 hours here and not even realize it. The artifacts were diverse, unusual and some were exceedingly rare. At first I was shocked by how much it cost to get in, but once inside looking around I realized it was a great deal. It's amazing when you realize this is someone's personal collection. And I loved that his story was tied into it as well. There's even a spot in the back for taking selfies with the different military hats. A plus for me was the fact that you could touch some of the items. I will definitely be back...

We had such an amazing time!! This is a private collection that is being gifted to us all. The quality of the pieces were unbelievable. Mr Webb was so lovely!! It was such a treat to hear his family legacy that he so graciously shares with the public. My 13 year old daughter who is a history nut fell in love with this museum. Mr Webb was so kind to share his knowledge with my kids. He went above and beyond to point out different must sees. He even went above and beyond and gifted me with authentic medals that my grandfather was awarded during his time serving in the Air Force. I would have never been able to find these authentic medals myself. And it was such a blessing that Mr Webb was so kind! These medals mean more than he will ever know. This is a MUST SEE if you’re in the Savannah area!!

This place was the highlight of our trip to Savannah. The curator of the museum, Gary Webb, is one of the most knowledgeable people we have ever met. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to and learn from as he has a steel trap for mind when it comes to all of his artifacts. The muesum is made of Gary's personal collection which he delightedly told us was only partially represented. All of the pieces were deeply researched and Gary had binders on binders of information. Listening to the stories associated with the pieces and how they were found was both fascinating and enthralling. If Gary ever expands or redoes the muesum we will make the trip to Savannah again to visit this amazing place. Thank you Gary!!
