Great food here! Great service too! Only down side is they try to seat social distance appropriate but it's way difficult because it's such a small place. We arrived at 10AM on a Sunday and was put on a waitlist for 25 mins. All employees wore masks. When our name was called to be seated we were asked if we were okay with being seated "community style" at a larger 6-top, where 2 people were seated on the far end and us 2 on the other end. Since we were already waiting/pretty hungry, we agreed. Glad we did, even though it wasn't social distance appropriate! Only about 3 feet apart. We met some great new friends. At first when initially sitting down it felt weird but right away the guy (Bryan) at the other end of the table with his girlfriend said to us, "Well, there you guys are, what took you so long?" With a big smile. My Hubby & I looked at each other & chuckled. Then Bryan continues by saying loudly, "Our party's all here- we're ready now!" Jokingly with a big bright smile. Boy, did we feel comfortable after that. Bryan was awesome! He continued striking up conversation to make us feel even more comfortable by asking things like, "where are you guys from?", "Have you been here before?" And asking if we had been to other nearby restaurants yet once we told him that we were new in town. What a great guy! Okay on to the food, ambiance and service. Our server came over & greeted us warmly. She took our drink orders & told us the daily specials. I ordered hot tea and & ice water. My Hubby had coffee. Our conversation continued fluently with our new friends. I complimented his girlfriend (Tammy) on her nails & she told me that she sold the self-stick designs online. I was highly intrigued & interested since I spend a ton on mani's/pedi's regularly and she said that every stylish set comes with 2 applications & cost less than a basic mani'. I was floored & had to know more. Our server returned with our drinks and took our food order. I ordered the peach french toast and my Hubby ordered their breakfast sandwich with avocado. Then I got the scoop on Tammy's online nail design store. Her & I talked & talked as my Hubby & Bryan did the same. Our conversations were so fluent that one of the servers ringing in an order behind us chimed in and said, "I must say, I Love how you came together as strangers and are conversing quite pleasantly as friends! So wonderful to see!" Then Bryan says, "What do you mean? This is my sister from another mother!" He exclaimed as he looks at me, puts his hand on my shoulder & chuckled. This was my favorite part of the whole dining experience. I'm sure you understand in this day/age how rare it is to have such an experience as this with strangers. Not that race is important, but with what's going on in the world, I feel it's important to share that Bryan & Tammy are white. My Hubby and I are black. This was just beautiful and the whole restaurant was watching in awe & amazement. Tammy smiled at me at one point during our conversation & said Bryan has never met a stranger. Our conversation never stopped. Even when our food arrived. Everything was absolutely delicious. Tammy & Bryan had the clothes line bacon which had a cool presentation. I went to the bthrm. It was unisex & pretty tiny. There were funny signs in there. One above the toilet said "Men, stand closer, it's shorter than you think and ladies please stay seated for the entire performance." Hahaaa! My Husband saw other signs around the restaurant that he thought were funny too. Great views at this place too since it's on the river. We saw a large barge go by. So awesome. As breakfast came to an end, we didn't want our conversation to end. So Bryan suggested that we all link on Facebook and we did. I also got Tammy's online nail design store info. This was the most memorable breakfast experience ever. The food was excellent, the views/ambiance were great, the signs were comedic and the conversation with our new friends was unforgettable. Outside of inappropriate socially distanced table seating, it was an EPIC Experience, to say the least.

Really delicious and funky place for brunch but it was as busy as an anthill in August and they messed up a lot of my order so...kinda frustrating. If you go on a Sunday, you WILL wait around 45 minutes for a table. I was quite impressed by the way the hostess managed the volume of humanity that wanted to get in. I ordered herbal tea and they brought me a mug and a little steamy pot of water plus a charming retro tin with a variety of teas to choose from. I was feeling particularly Southern so I chose the peach tea. l also ordered a glorious Mason jar full of fresh squeezed orange juice - sweet and cold with tasty chunks of pulp, that stuff is sunshine in a glass. The biscuits are about as big as your head, giant balls of doughy deliciousness served piping hot with "traffic jam" - was it strawberry? - some kind of really tasty berry jam anyways. Here's where thing went a little wrong. I ordered the White Trash Hash, a combo of white gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes and asked for NO jalapenos, which the server repeated back to me...but after tucking into the top layer of the food and my biscuit I got a spicy surprise - a pile of 'peno peppers hiding in the goodness! I was a little hungover, hello Savannah nightlife, and my stomach was NOT real happy with the spicy addition. Like Peter Piper, I picked the peppers out but the food had been cooked with them, so all of it was pretty spicy. Disappointing. I also ordered peach crepes - don't judge, I wanted something sweet to go with the salty - and when they were delivered I had received pecan instead. When I let the server know, they got me some peach ones on the fly, which I appreciated but nothing was done about the jalapeno situation. I was also surprised that I paid an entire dollar for three little dollops of whipped cream on the crepes. That's a bit excessive for a garnish, right? Anyway, the quality of the food was so good, even if my order was a mess, that I have to give the place four stars. I'd like to go back and give it another go - there were some other things like chicken and waffles that sounded amazing.

We first went to there other location but was told they only take cash (and didn't want to pay a huge international fee to take US out of my account). We would have been better going to another restaurant at that point. We got seated right away and ordered iced coffees which were super refreshing on a super hot day. We ordered our food and waited almost 45 minutes for it. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict as I love crab and were near the ocean. The crab cakes had lots of filler which really hide the crab and the red pepper hollandaise was red but didn't taste like anything. The biscuits were extremely dry with no moisture unlike other good ones you can find. My wife had the Peach French toast which came with barely any of the advertised pecans and way too much whip cream. She did enjoy the peaches and her bacon was well cooked. The worst part of this experience (even over my unappealing food) was that they had 3 not service dogs allowed in the restaurant right around us. They would walk around the tables and shake their fur out. If the owner is breaking Georgia Food Regulations on letting dogs into his restaurant, it makes me wonder what other health regulations he is choosing to break in the kitchen. Obviously if they were service dogs, I would have 0 problems with it and they would have been far better behaved. One of the food servers told us it grossed them out as well and shouldn't be allowed (and it's at the discretion of the owner). They have a sign in the restaurant advertising good food, good prices and fast service. They weren't close on any of the three. They also charge you over 3% to cover their credit card fees (as if they weren't making enough money).

This is the 3rd time we've tried them and this was the last. We were 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant, and that still took over an hour to get our food. We have a disabled 4 year old with us who only got 2 scrambled eggs with toast - it shouldn't have taken over an hour to get his food first of all. But after it Took 10 minutes of waiting for our server to take our drink orders or even acknowledge us and another 15 to place our order i should've known right then to just leave. Our server was and stayed MIA our visit! We saw her go upstairs a few times, run into the office for tooth picks - taking them outside to the building/establishment next door to where the dining room/entrance of the restaurant was. Nobody in our party was ever offered a refill on any of our drinks including coffee by ANYONE in the place including the manager! 15 minutes AFTER placing our order we were told there was no breakfast potatoes with 2 of our meals being based around the potatoes. Once our food was in the window the kitchen called for the waitress TWICE, another female server also told our server as she walked away since it wasn't her food in the window then another server this time a male also told her and she was in the side stations putting lids on something she told him I know (we were sitting in front of the window which is on the side of the side station) after 3 minutes of waiting I got up and asked her if I can just take our food out of the window and I got attitude with a NO I'M GETTING IT. Well 3 minutes after she got done that she came and brought us our cold food, cast iron skillet plates the food is served on were ice cold so you can imagine how the food was. Grease had started to get firm on the bacon and sausage patties - absolutely disgusting. By this time our son and myself are over it I ask for the manager she finally comes from upstairs after waiting on 2 people to get her. I tell her what's wrong she said "I got you sweetie" never an apology what can I do to make this right just kept repeating "I got you sweetie" while tapping on the computer screen. She did speak to the server about it right in front of us at the register, I over hear the server say "ummm no they didn't" referring to the kitchen yelling for her to run her food when I turned around and called her a liar telling the manager to ask the kitchen staff. At this point I'm outside consoling my son who's inconsolable while the rest of my family eats what they can of the "food" that's been served to them. I was blown AWAY by the lack of professionalism and the over abundance of rudeness. We were a party of 5 one of us being a disabled child, 2 other parties of 2 came in after us & had their food before our order was even taken. I have to ask you 2 Cracked Eggs......were we ignored and treated differently in hopes we would just leave & you wouldn't have to "deal with us" due to our son?? I'd like an answer to my question, I'd actually like to speak to the owner! After all of this we STILL PAID $180.08 for a cold meal. I don't even know if she took mine and my son's food off of the bill as all the manager told me was "I got you sweetie" absolutely DISGUSTED that we paid that much money for that type of food and service. We went to McDonald's the next morning and had better food and WAY BETTER service than 2 Cracked Eggs gave us. They really should be ashamed how they treated us and embarrassed how they treated a disabled child! Not one apology from anyone in that building wearing a company shirt! No wonder we were only 1 of the 3 tables...

Being a downtown local since late last year, I have passed by the “two cracked eggs” Hummer vehicle on River street nearly every day. We finally got a chance to try it today and I cannot say how disappointed we were. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated as there is not much room available, which is fine and pretty common for the area. Our server took down our order without writing anything down, and then a few minutes later, another person came over to check on what we had ordered, which was given incorrectly. While we were waiting, we noticed that it was actually pretty filthy inside. There were food and trash covering the entire dining area, there was syrup on the wall directly next to me, as well as a thick coating of dust on the window frames. When everything came out, it looked so good! A giant biscuit loaded up with meat and cheese and eggs, we were very excited. Unfortunately, it was like biting into nothing, we both had to generously put salt and pepper on to get any type of flavor at all. I ordered the “white trash hash” which described Yukon, Gold potatoes, topped with an egg cheese, onions and peppers with sausage gravy. What I got was a giant biscuit that looked great, but had no flavor and the rest was literal soup. The potatoes were not hash browns as the name indicated, but were instead just cut in half and served that way. The gravy was so thin and completely took over anything else that was on the plate, turning everything soupy and soggy.
