Rousakis Riverfront Plaza in downtown Savannah, GA, is a charming and picturesque spot perfect for a leisurely stroll and capturing beautiful moments. My partner and I visited this area and were delighted by the scenic views and delightful atmosphere. The plaza stretches along the Savannah River, providing stunning waterfront views. The cobblestone paths and historic architecture add to the charm, making it an ideal location for taking cute photos. We found ourselves mesmerized by the blend of natural beauty and urban charm that the plaza offers. One of the highlights of our visit was discovering a little bridge on the opposite side of the plaza. Climbing up the stairs, we stumbled upon this hidden gem with an arch of grass that created a perfect backdrop for our photos. The greenery and unique setting added a whimsical touch to our pictures, making them even more special. Rousakis Riverfront Plaza is also a great place to explore local shops, enjoy street performances, and indulge in some delicious food from nearby eateries. The lively atmosphere is inviting, and there's always something interesting happening around the plaza. Whether you're looking to take a relaxing walk by the river, capture beautiful photos, or simply soak in the vibrant ambiance, Rousakis Riverfront Plaza has something for everyone. It’s a must-visit spot in Savannah that offers a perfect blend of history, beauty, and charm. In conclusion, Rousakis Riverfront Plaza is a delightful destination in downtown Savannah. Absolutely love this quaint, cozy, yet vibrant bustling Riverfront. Choose your activity and this riverfront has it, from sightseeing, to dining, to shopping and more...everything you could ask for is nicely settled here! The Georgia Queen Riverboat sitting on the dock of City Hall Landing is always a welcomed site and attraction. Watching the sunset is an amazing sight...especially while enjoying a dinner or a night cap of dessert. The shops are expansive and meets everyone's shopping needs. The cobblestones street is such an added treasure for those who love to take photos. The bridge in the background brings life and contrast to an already unique atmosphere. The food is delicious, the people are warm and friendly, the streets are historic and your memories will be lasting! Get here now and simply embrace this scenic haven of beauty.

Travellers, walking along the savannah river on the riverwalk is lovely. There is a gorgeous paddle boat, the georgia queen, docked there, and lots of benches and places to sit and enjoy the views of the river and old savannah. This riverwalk and the surrounding buildings are some of the oldest buildings in savannah. The riverwalk is below street level and there are many ways to get down there and back up again. In one spot is a set of ancient steps that you climb at your own risk but worth the effort. They are high and narrow and very old. The shops are fun and full of people. There are restaurants and shops, the candy shops are fantastic. Strolling hee makes a wonderful afternoon. Check it out. We recommend.

This is a beautiful spot whether it's raining or sunny you can catch a beautiful photo of the Savannah Riverboat "Georgia Queen" and you may be able to buy some local jewelry or a "savannah rose" a low country Gullah traditional piece of art forever. A flower that will never die, made from palm just like what Jesus himself walked on. The bridge is magnificent at this angle. So stop and "smell the roses" and take in the simple beauty of Savannah that Sherman simply couldn't bring himself to destroy. There's so much rich history here all you have to do is stop and read the placards, they are so worth your time.

It's a super cool place to walk down. All sorts of stores and restaurants. The stores are all pretty much the same. Once you've been in a couple you've practically seen them all. The prices for most things are pretty comparable throughout Savannah. So if you wanted to get something from the riverfront I'd just go for it. All the stores sell the same thing as mentioned earlier. The view is where it's at though. The one thing I like is how old all the buildings look. The riverfront looks awesome. I like the historic stairs that say "use at your own risk." But there are tons of neat things to look at.

We had a long wonderful walk through many of Savannahs downtown squares, ending at dusk at the riverfront. Though crowded with seasonal shoppers, we still found time for our favorite shops, like Riverfront Sweets, and got in just before the dinner crowds at Huey's for a great dinner. Huey's is a New Orleans style restaurant and very authentic. The street was busy with locals in their fancy vintage cars, like the beautiful early 70's blue convertible Cadillac that we saw through the window from Huey's. Coffee at the local Starbucks was excellent, as always, and gave us time for people watching.
