I am writing to express my deep frustration and extreme disappointment. Following my experience at a establishment in Scottsdale called Casa amigo. I was very excited to come and visit this place I have come through multiple times throughout my years instead of that nostalgic feeling, I was met with false accusations and rudeness that were quite disrespectful not just to myself, but the group that invited me out to the establishment. To provide some context, I am very aware of certain activities that occur within the establishment, not just during, but also after business hours, and it was quite disheartening to be accused of behavior. I did not engage in, especially when accusations come from team members and management quite few that I know personally, I can prove from social media. I also had a terrible and unfortunate experience of speaking with Casamigos general manager. Andrew Young on the phone, and I was shocked by how condescending and dismissive he was not just with his tone, but how he spoke to me he falsely accuse me of making threats when in fact, all I was stating was that your establishment wasnât doing proper business and my family works for the Better Business Bureau. His response however, was to maintain a dismissive stance and portray in arrogant tone, portraying that his position within a well known establishment and venue somehow made him immune to take accountability for his staff. I was not making threats. I was merely just expressing how I was being treated in establishment that I always gave high regards to. The staff handled the situation with an apparent lack of professionalism, prejudice, and very discriminated towards me. I felt treated as if my words and actions were of no value, and I was made to feel as though I was beneath everyone else at the venue. Making me feel publicly, embarrassed, and quite disrespected. This will also be posted not just to Google, but the Better Business Bureau and yelp my intentions is not to damage the Clubâs reputation, but to make it very clear that the way I was treated it was unacceptable and to encourage improvements to ensure that no other. Customer is subjected to similar treatment. I also would like to emphasize that my family is taking a personal loss of a child, and I am deeply offended by the general manager, making remarks about his personal life while attempting to dismiss my concerns. My son has recently passed. My brother. Also just killed himself for New Yearâs and Iâve had multiple other deaths in my family this past year and for the first time going outside in multiple years, I chose to go to that club for two days out of my stay here in Arizona And I do not appreciate the attempt to minimize my legitimate concerns with references to personal matters I hope and trust that you will take this complaint serious and ensure that steps are taken to address the improper conduct I experience during my visit. I would appreciate an acknowledgment of this statement as well as any actions you plan to take moving...
Read moreI wanted to celebrate my birthday at a fun nightlife Mexican restaurant. Some of my family recommended Mama Por Dios so I was looking for something similar. The website for Casa Amigos shows as a restaurant experience but also a nightclub after hours so I booked through open table. I figured a nice Mexican fun restaurant to start with dinner and then dance club after. I tried to call them for two weeks before my reservation date to ask for more details and just make sure I was all set for my reservation and NO ONE answered the phone, no voicemail and no replies to my email. The only confirmation of a reservation was a day before from open table. I took a chance to show up and paid for an Lyft drive from the west valley for this "experience".
My friends and family showed up at 6:30 and called me immediately to tell me that it wasnât a restaurant but just a club that no one was eating. The door hostess didnât check any books for my name or âreservationâ but sat my group at the booths on the patio. I showed up at 6:45 disappointed. Turns out to be a club that does serve food but not a restaurant or how it appeared online. Everyone was hungry because they saved their appetite for what we thought would be dinner soon so we stayed to make the best of it, had some simple finger food and drinks while listening to the music.
About an hour later one of my guest went outside to smoke and they wouldn't let him back in because they thought he was too intoxicated and stated because he was âswayingâ. He definitely wasn't because we were only there an hour. They really only wanted us to leave so the space we were at they can use for someone paying bottle service. While we were leaving to go elsewhere since my friend couldn't get back in I was trying to talk to them about the whole experience and how I was so upset. The guy looked at his watch while talking to me with total disregard as I was wasting his time to get the area cleared out for bottle service while mentioning in his ear piece âThey wonât leaveâ.
I explained to him that I understand if they need to move us for a bottle service but to have us leave completely was upsetting and that it wasnât the case at all. We would have left just fine but I more wanted them to understand my experience. They made me feel very unimportant on my birthday.
We left and went to a neighboring bar and had a great time the rest of the night.
Iâm really hoping that you can talk to the staff and what couldâve been done better and the decent treatment of human beings.
UPDATE: In the process of going over the details of the experience with the owner. Will update with the outcome.
2nd UPDATE: After the owner reached out, didn't recieved any feedback...
Read moreReally bad experience here with the bartenders and door crew. Door crew gave us the full monty coming in as far as ID and checking our temperature and stuff. When we were inside we asked whether or not there was an inside smoking area and we were told no by the bartenders. So we went out the side door to smoke I told him not to clear our table as we were still smoking they agreed, then we went outside to smokes coming back in they gave us the same 5th degree of interrogation coming in and I said hey is there a place inside where we can smoke? So we don't have to go through this? We were told by the door stop that there was no such place, upon entering we ask the bartender again if there is a place where we can smoke inside so we wouldn't have to go through that, they replied no. A few minutes later while we are enjoying our drink at the bar, we noticed some people smoking at one of the patio seats we were just at. we inquired about it, the bartender said yeah it was cool to smoke out there. I informed her that we went outside and if they told us that there was no place to smoke , she said we could smoke there as long as we went back to our old table. I said if she could please let the door staff know that there is a place to smoke inside that would be great because then we wouldn't have to have gone outside when we smoked a cigarette. The bartender then went and talked to the door staff and they immediately came over to us and said that we appeared to be too intoxicated and they asked us to leave. At this point I had had half of a beer which they made me chug the rest, and my friend had had one drink, and they made her chug the other one , so we clearly weren't intoxicated. It was clearly a dispute between bar staff and host and bartenders and door security not knowing what was going on, however it resulted in them accusing us of being too drunk to be in there, have to leave, and we had to drink or drinks quickly and go. I remember one of the door staffs name was Chris Sanders, the other guy who had a goatee didn't identify himself. Very disappointed, won't be coming back to this establishment or...
