Do NOT waste your time or money on this place.
I was here over the weekend with a large group of girls for a bachelorette party. Prior to our arrival, we had been in contact with the VIP Host for weeks. We made it very clear what our expectations would be going into the night (table inside that would accommodate 10 girls) and he assured us this would not be an issue. Once we arrived, we were ushered to a table OUTSIDE by the pool that was facing the bar 3 feet away. First of all, outside was a sad excuse for a club compared to the ambiance inside. Secondly, the seating at the table could accommodate 6 girls at most and that is being generous. After speaking to the manager and showing him the texts that confirmed the table inside, he basically told us they overbooked the tables inside and there is nothing they could do for us besides cut our tab in half. Sure this may sound like a fair compromise in theory, but when you’re the only table seated in a section outside that is far too cramped to fit your group and you’re stuck staring at a bar all night, you’d probably agree this was not the response we were hoping for and definitely not worth the saved money. Towards the end of the night, we asked to please speak to the manager again. This time we were approached by the female manager. We expressed our frustration with the evening and instead of being understanding and trying to defuse the situation, she became extremely defensive and rude. I have dealt with my fair share of customer service throughout the years and I can assure you this is hands down the WORST customer service I have ever received. I tried to rationalize with her and asked her to put herself in my shoes and the best response she could give me, “Well what do you want me to do about it? The night is basically over”. I asked her what could she do to make it right and she couldn’t give me an answer. She then proceeded to walk away and did not return. This night had nothing to do with money; it was more about the experience and ensuring our bride-to-be had the time of her life. Unfortunately, to say the night was a huge let down would be an understatement. Someone, somewhere, dropped the ball and failed to make it right and as a result, we were the ones who had to pay for the...
Read moreI was a patron at this establishment a few shows back and WOW this place was amazing definitely not what I was expecting to find in in Scottsdale I found myself easily moving around to the beats DJ Steve was playing on his stereo. I don't really even know how to dance around to this kind of energy music but the vibe of the crowd suggested you could dance however the music made you feel. They really thought about the entire layout of the complex because you could see DJ Steve from every angle no matter where you were within the party facility. They even had acrobats putting on Cirque du Soleil shows hanging from the ceiling. I definitely must say for a place like this drinks were definitely reasonably priced. I went to a similar music facility in Miami a few years back in South Beach beers were $18 and Long Island's we're $45 so being able to buy both of those items in one pop for under $20 is a bargain. Everyone working there could have been having a horrible day but from the look on their face I definitely couldn't tell they all seem to be extremely happy. I even noticed that the entire complex inside and outer pool section had an amazing smell going on. I did not even mind the unusual anointing ceremony from the champagne bottles and birthday cake tossing. I was told it was some kind of special event it must have been DJ Steve's birthday party? everyone really seemed to be loving it. I was definitely enjoying all the antics DJ Steve and his surprise guest Little Jim I believe his name was kept surprising us with. They even pulled out a giant rubber dinghy and went sailing across the top of the crowd to everyone's enjoyment. My only complaint was it was hard to make or receive phone calls on the Dance Floor I found it extremely difficult for either party to hear one another because of the level of sound DJ Steve had the stereo turned up to. It was a bit frustrating but I guess that's to be expected until cell phone technology makes a few more generations of advancements either way can't wait to go back again someday if my...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would.... I spoke to Pete (the General Manager) over a week ago about coming for a bachelorette party. He was happy and excited to have us. I’ve been in contact asking him questions to prepare for our day that we were so exited about. He told us to get there early, which we did, and we spent $200 on drinks at the bar before Maya opened... we get to the line (which I was also told by another rep that we could go to the front on the line). We waited to be told that 2 of the girls ID’s were expired by 15 days. IT IS LEGAL THAT DUE TO COVID19 we have a 90 day grace period to renew our ID’s. They literally took our $200 at the bar and then kicked us out of the club!!! What a joke. Pete is a frat boy wannabe who just wants your money. Not to mention he wanted over $3,000 to get a table.... take your money to the fun bars across the street!!! They were more that happy to have us!! They also could not believe that we were kicked out of MAYA. They laughed. The bartenders at Riot House were so friendly!!!!
Maya only wants your money!! There are MUCH better places to go than there!
Don’t trust Pete who is 21 years old thinking he is some hot shot general manager. The only people in line were dudes who honestly looked younger than 21. Don’t be waste $50 on cover for their tiny pool and over priced drinks. The managers and security at MAYA were SO rude to us. I’ve never had an experience like this before.
Do not come here!! Literally the worst place in Scottsdale to come.

You let us in your bar with our expired ID before the club opened to spend money on drinks since your bar was so lame and literally had nobody in line. you were just desperate for money. We are in a global pandemic, the government is allowing 90 days to renew a license. Every bar knows that except for you. We were allowed into 6 bars before and after you denied us and most places laughed at you guys for not...
