I went in to this store in October after my business modem stopped working and spending hours on the phone with AT&T trying to reach tech support when a rep named Ereca said she was tech support and my modem was reading âconnect to networkâ because AT&T made some changes but not to worry that she would send me a new modem at no charge. I asked if I could do this in the store and she said no. I went to this store and explained what my conversation over the phone I described above was. The store rep who helped me said that the phone rep lied about not being able to get that promotion in store and did so for a commission or spiff and that it happens all the time. He told me they could do the promotion and give me the modem for free. He looked into the account and found the phone rep had set up two accounts and was sending two modems. He said he would cancel them and get me sorted out there in the store. I assumed he did that and I left the store. I received one modem in the mail and got back on the phone. I cancelled that account and then they tried charging me $800 for the modem. I got that taken care of after hours on the phone with AT&T loyalty department. Then I discussed them having an installment plan that store had put on my account for the modem they gave me. Come to find out the store rep and the phone rep had both lied. Iâve had to spend hours and hours on the phone with AT&T and itâs been a fight to get this resolved. I wish I knew the store reps name because Iâd cation you to not believe anything he says. The worse part is that he had help of the manager and the manager was there for the whole thing. I would not ever take anything the reps or manager in this store have to say as honest but instead consider everything they say as if itâs coming out of a used car salesmanâs mouth. Theyâre motivated by commissions/spiffs to screw you over for their own personal gain and there isnât an ounce of integrity amongst the...
Read moreI've been a customer of ATT for nearly 20 years. I recently had a problem with my ATT SIM card not being recognized by my Samsung S10+ phone, and asked for help at the Scottsdale ATT store. Rather than helping me, several of the sales staff gave me a hard sell to upgrade my phone. I told them that this is a recent Samsung flagship phone, and I wasn't interested in changing it. I involved the store manager in the discussion and he said that ATT was no longer supporting 3G, and that I would need to upgrade to a 5G telephone before they would issue a new SIM card. I told them that there was no conceivable way that ATT would not support 3G on their SIMs. Ultimately all of the sales people in the store (3 of them) got involved and they were adamant that ATT no longer supported 3G. I don't think I've ever run into such a combative, dishonest sales staff before; they certainly were pushing those new phones. Horrible experience, and I'm considering changing carriers because this is apparently what ATT has...
Read moreI am a long time AT&T wireless customer, since 2001. I would recommend not purchasing services from this store and strongly encourage another service provider which is what I will be doing now.
Worst experience ever. Purchased an iPhone 8 on 16 Dec '19 with salesman named Cody. 0$ plan offer, reviewed all circumstances with Cody and ensured I qualified to add the new line to an existing account. After he assured me all I would be responsible for was sales tax, activation fee and the first 3 months of installments (which would later show as a credit), I agreed.
AT&T still has not correctly set up the plan. Through the error of Cody and this store, on set-up (extra fees and AT&T next plan added without authorization) and now the account was set up incorrectly.
I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB against both this business and AT&T wireless HQ...
