This was a very bad experience for my black family and I, we came to this restaurant a couple of times but the customer service was very discriminatory towards us. The first time that we had visited we had two female waitresses, one wore glasses and the other one was tall. The waitress with the glasses was very patronizing toward my elderly family member who had disability concerns, when she had asked our waitress to simply speak up, the waitress intern started yelling her. And when a family member was choking, she was telling the waitress that she needs a carbonated drink to help her burp, but the waitress just stood there and asked if there was something wrong. In a very unhelpful, rude, and unkind way. The family next to us was a Caucasian family, they were ordering things as well as making complaints, but our fame waitress was extremely accommodating to them and even had an upbeat attitude. Not to mention that are waitresses switched with a male waiter, towards the end of our meal. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, so we went back there next week. The male waiter that we had had last time escorted us to a booth, and we saw the two waitresses from last week standing in the kitchen doorway, we're talking watching us and laughing, but never once welcomed us in. It was highly uncomfortable for us the whole time, mean while the two waitresses would greet all the other customers that came in after us, not to mention they were white. After the food was brought out to our table, the waiter never returned to inquire about the food, i.e if we were okay, or if we needed anything. But the Caucasian couple behind us receive frequent waitress support, particularly by the two waitresses mentioned previously. We also received water that was not ice cold, well the other table had received ice cold water. The Caucasian received refills, well our table never got any. Our waiter and the two waitresses never waited on us after the food was served, mean while the other table was waited on about 5 times in our presence. When my mom had asked one of the waitresses for the fish sauce, ( we didn't know the name at that point). She has said the wrong ingredient stop we thought was in it, but the waitress upon hearing it decided to make a side remark correcting her, the stalked off instead of telling us the name of the sauce. When we were leaving, the two with your system in by the door told our waiter to come out and bid us farewell, instead of doing it themselves they just stood there watching us leave. Its safe to say that we will not be returning to this restaurant. Although the food is not that cheap, we don't mind paying for good food and service. But no one deserves to be...

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant because it was close to our hotel, and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The gentleman at the front desk promptly seated us, and a lady brought water to our table.
We placed our order with the same gentleman, who was very pleasant and even commented that he also loved the spicy fried rice I chose, which was a nice personal touch. Our food arrived fairly quickly, and the portions were generous.
This was hands down the best Thai food we have ever had. My spicy fried rice (level 4 spice) was absolutely delicious, moist, flavorful, and packed with chicken. My husband ordered the honey chicken with cashew nuts, and every bite was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We truly had a lovely meal.
The only downside came after we paid. I had just finished paying by card and, within seconds, a lady came out from the kitchen asking me to fill out and sign the receipt, including the tip amount, even though we planned to tip in cash. Her approach felt abrupt and slightly uncomfortable, especially since she didn’t smile or explain clearly. For a moment, we thought something was wrong with the payment. We asked her why and she mentioned it was to prevent anyone from altering the receipt, which we understand, but the manner could have been more courteous.
Despite that minor moment, we genuinely had a wonderful dinner and would highly recommend Mango Thai for anyone looking for fantastic Thai cuisine in the SeaTac area. Just maybe be ready to clarify your tipping method ahead of time. We will definitely return next time we...
Read moreMy husband and I came in on our last night in Seattle before flying back to Florida. Boy, am I glad we did. This was absolutely, without doubt, my favorite meal/dining experience from the entire two week trip thru Seattle, San Juan Islands and Olympic Natl Park. It was a slow start, as there were only 2 servers on. But Amy stepped in and really made our experience wonderful.
Upon entry, the restaurant is so welcoming. Think high ceilings meet huge floating floral arrangements meet minimal/clean lined aesthetics/furniture - and the smell is heavenly! We were sat in very comfortable booth. One of perhaps 30 ish tables.
We ordered the Gai Samun Pai (fried wings) for our appetizer. They are possibly the most unique wings I’ve ever had. They were lightly battered and hard fried until a wonderful crunch was achieved. Garnished with cashews and fried thai basil leaves. The dipping sauce is the intersection of salty, savory, citrus, and sweet meets herbal. There was (I think) a Parmesan crumble garnished on top of the sauce that I would leave off.
The main entrees were the Pork Belly Gra Pao with tofu added (stir fried crispy pork belly) & the Gang Ped with tofu added (duck red curry). The pork belly had the most delicious umami, garlic and basil flavors. The red curry was perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The meat in both dishes was beyond tender. The owner even came out to check on us right before we paid and left.
I will be back here any time I am back in Seattle. I can’t recommend this...
