Absolutely the best L&L location bar none! I love L&L and have been a patriot since decades ago, and have tried various locations from CA, TX and now WA, so I’d say my evaluation is fair and accurate.
This location is easily overlooked as it’s the closest location to SEATAC Airport, as parking looked to be challenging, but a sign which stated Free Retail Parking in a parking structure took care of that problem!
The layout is unique as upon entering the restaurant, order counter and kitchen is located up front, and the dining area in the side and rear which for some reason reminded me of in a positive way, a Japanese Ramen shop of sort!
I had my favorite Kahlua Pork w/cabbage and my wife’s favorite Chicken Katsu curry to go. Food was prepped well with sides thoughtfully being separated to include curry sauce as to prevent our food from getting all soggy and messy as we had an hour drive to get home after our trip!
Their thoughtfulness and consideration even extended to doubling up on the paper tray for juicy item such as Kahlua pork w/cabbage so it won’t leak all over the bag (had that happen plenty of times from other locations!) and included all available sauces to include kimchi at no additional cost!
I truly heart felt their excellent service, kind and meticulous consideration and quality preparedness of their signature dishes. I found it odd that an Asian gentlemen who looked to be an owner/manager on his knees scrubbing and mopping the underside of a few tables with towels. However, I now understand how his meticulous level of service reflected through the service and to go food we so much enjoyed.
This is by far the BEST L&L Hawaiian location I’ve had a pleasure of...

I called L&L Hawaiian Grill in SeaTac over 11 times trying to place a phone order no one ever picked up. So I had no choice but to place a DoorDash order for pickup.
When I arrived, the restaurant was not even busy only two customers and two employees behind the counter. Out of curiosity, I called the restaurant again while standing inside. The phone didn't ring at all, which tells me they either unplugged it or turned the ringer off.
I let the girl with glasses know they should answer the phone, and instead of taking that feedback seriously, she gave me attitude and started laughing with the other girl like it was a joke. She claimed they were "busy," even though I was literally watching them do nothing but stand around.
As if that wasn't enough, when I got home, my Chicken Katsu plate was soggy and completely soaked in teriyaki sauce. The whole meal was just a mess.
Unprofessional staff, rude attitude, and sloppy food. I will not be returning, and I'll definitely be letting family and friends know to avoid this place. If I'm spending my money somewhere, I expect at least a basic level of respect and quality this place...
Read moreFood is good, but service is abysmal. There were three people staffing the restaurant when we stopped in, two in the kitchen and one on the register. The guy on the register obviously didn't know how to work it as it took 10 minutes (I'm not exageraring) to split an order so that two parties could pay separately.
During this time the restaurant became crowded with more and more people coming in and food was coming out of the kitchen. The guy on the register was focussed on his problem and let food sit. Nobody from the back came forward to hand the food out, they just kept making more.
When I finally got my payment sorted, it was sad watching this person make change. The cents came to .57. It was handed to me as a Quarter, a Dime, two Nickels, and twelve Pennies. Technically, that is correct change and I could see from his till it wasn't due to not having the coins.
I won't likely be visiting this location again. If I have to pay more for food to support a $15/hr minimum wage, I expect that the service and quality will be worth the money. This experience was so bad, I wouldn't do it again if I was getting paid $15/hr...
