One of the few stores with indoor takeout. Very pleasant staff to interact with.
Update: April 2022. First time ordering during dinner time. Service a little slow, but acceptable.
Update: July 2022. I do not rate restaurants below 2 stars. Even at 2 stars, the food is usually decent, and it’s the service that may have issues usually. This is my first 1 star rating, and it pertains to the upper management of the establishment and the lack of professionalism and care for the customers. Please note that this rating does not evaluate the food at all.
It is a late Sunday morning (July 9), and I was around the area after completing some tasks. I walked to the restaurant after checking the App to make sure dine-in/take-out was available at this store. I also wanted to use a coupon that I had in my wallet for some time before it expired.
Walked to the west entrance and tried the door. It was locked. Walked around to the east entrance, and it too was locked. Knocked on the door, and a man opened the door. Glanced through the glass window, and finally noticed he was having a meeting with someone dressed like a Jack-in-the-Box employee on some seats with paperwork spread out. I surmise the employee is a store manager, and the man is likely an owner or part of upper management. I queried why the lobby is closed despite the App indicating takeout/dine-in is available. He never provided any reason and suggested I use the drive-through. I indicated that I did not drive to the restaurant and asked if I could be served as an exception. He said no and closed the door on me without even an apology. A totally dismissive act unfortunately.
Usually it is not a big deal; however, this is the 3rd time that this restaurant has done this to me without any excuse nor apology. There was another time, but the servers inside were kind enough to accommodate me. The worst part of this was that the drive-through was totally empty. (The crowds were likely not out yet.) All the place needed to do was to simply post a sign on the doors indicating lobby closure, and I would have respected that.
Likelihood of me providing this place with any future business is very slim. Y'all can decide whether being disrespected as paying customers is worth...
Read moreThis is the worst Jack in the box I’ve been to. I walked in at 6:55am just behind another customer. There were no employees at the front counter. It took about 5 minutes for them to come take the order of the customer in front of me. He ordered a breakfast combo and asked for orange juice (JitB sells orange juice in little cartons), the employee told the customer they didn’t have any orange juice. The employee was working the drive through so she disappeared again. About 3 minutes later she came and took my order, I asked her if they were out of orange juice, she said yes. So I ordered food without a drink. The other customer and I waited for over 10 minutes for our food. In the meantime many customers came and went at the drive through. While we were waiting for our food, another employee took over the front counter. The customer in front of me walked up to her and asked if they had orange juice, she opened up a fridge visible to us and it was stocked full of orange juice! Either the other employee is completely ignorant, or she just flat out lied about product availability. Avoid this Jack in the Box! UPDATE FROM THE NEXT DAY
Read moreUpdate...I wish this place would constantly serve ok food. Burger and 4 tacos with it. Talk about making a mistake. Turns out the tacos were taking directly from the fryer and thrown in the paper bags without draining. I had a lap full of grease dump out of the bag in litterly seconds and soak into my work pants. There was enough grease left over for me to reuse it at home and Cook something on the stove When I finally was able to throw the bag out.. I'm not kidding. I've lost all faith in this location. Why the heck would they do this? I was a Jack app order and was nice to them and said nothing. Not sure what if anything can be done other than never coming back. BEWARE ALL IN DRIVE-THRU...
I definitely feel stupid. I place an app order in the Jack in the box app. I specifically pay $1 more for something added a single thing to a sandwich. On that same order, I order two identical sandwiches with that dollar plus extra cost change to each one. Out of four times through pickup at the drive-thru (using their app only) they've only gotten it right once. It just shows that they don't even look at their screen when they're making these things. Not very impressed. Kicking myself after the third time going well we'll get it this time. I don't know order a custom sandwich anymore from them. Last ultimate cheeseburger I ordered trying something different it looked like the meat had been cooked two days before. Can't say much what I did with it that sandwich. Very odd cuz Jack in the box in the past has been pretty good at these things. Must be 2022 and things are weird. I'll think twice before coming to this Jack in...
