Maven Meals — Restaurant in SeaTac

Update 4/12/2022: Maven reached out to me a day or two after the botched pickup and not only apologized, but gave me a decent amount of store credit to use for another purchase, which I took them up on. Adding a star for good customer service and communication. Also, in case better detail is helpful, the containers are generally polypropylene plastic containers that seal pretty well or zip-seal plastic bags.

One complaint about their procedures: they do not label their containers to make it clear what's gluten-free, dairy-free, etc, unlike the way they do it on their website. Frustrating if you're ordering for a gluten-free housemate in addition to yourself. This needs to be changed. Original 3 star review: Maven Meals doesn't deliver to my zip code, though I'm only located 30 minutes away from their facility. When I went to pick my meal order up, they brought only half of it out to me, which I didn't discover until I got home. This necessitated another trip to their facility; no compensation (coupon/discount or otherwise) was offered for the mistake that cost an extra hour of time and fuel. EDIT (in response to owner): thank you for responding! Again, that is the problem: we can’t even get takeout because we live almost 2 hours from this location, which is the closest one to us. By the time we get home, the food will be pretty much spoiled or not as great. Please make it so there is a dine-in option. Your food looks amazing, but is very inconvenient for people who live far away!

ORIGINAL: This service is extremely misleading. Google labels it as a “restaurant”, yet it’s a delivery service. Unfortunately, not only does our family live too far away from here to have it delivered, but even if we could have it delivered, we live on private property that cannot be accessed. Our packages have to be delivered to our PO Box, which is also a long ways away from where we live.

Maven Meals is a LIFESAVER. No minimums, you don't receive if you don't order, so no more trying to "keep up" with meal deliveries. You order what you want, as many servings as you want, when you want and it's delivered to your door. Most meals are heat-and-serve. With fish there's a little prep, but they tell you exactly how, and how long the food will stay fresh in your fridge. Oh, and did I mention the food is AMAZING!? Absolutely decadent, yet healthy. Great variety, veggie options and the sides are sold separately so you can skip them or double up. Lime Cilantro fish Tacos, Lasagna (traditional and zucchini) and ANY of the fish, I grab immediately because it's always SO GOOD!
