I bought a massage package on Alvarados website for a new customer for 159 dollars for a 90 minute massage. I sent the digital gift card to my gf to use and she booked an appointment. Something went wrong with the appointment information regarding who was receiving the massage. (I guess my own information auto loaded into the patient form) My gf talked to Alvarado though email trying to communicate that the info was accidentally submitted for the appointment. Alvarado said to cancel the appointment and rebook. She rebooked and only a couple weeks after booking got a text message saying Alvarado had to go to Mexico to take care of his mom and that we could either get a refund or rebook when he returned. My gf opted to be refunded and it never happened. We were both very disappointed that this issue couldn’t be resolved at any point up to this time. I figured Alvarado had some personal things going on and I didn’t care to think about it for a while. Many months later, after curiously browsing the email for the gift card I paid for, I realized it was still a valid gift card according to the website and that there were recent reviews of people who were receiving massages again. Awesome, so we can still rebook her massage. So she did and it was confirmed through email. She drove to the new location (on time) waited in the waiting room until 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment, and asked the receptionist. The receptionist said he just rents the unit and didn’t know what was going on. So, no massage. Initially my gf contacted him directly through phone calls and email. There was no response at first. Later in the day he texted her apologizing for the bad communication and that he was still dealing with personal matters in Mexico. He offered to refund us with a big discount on another massage. Roberto is a gifted massage therapist and the only therapist I currently trust with supporting my body. My body is in recovery from a car accident (over 10-years ago) and I’m just not as flexible as I used to be on my right side. Working with Roberto over the past three to four months has restored some of the lost flexibility in my shoulder (this is something I didn’t believe would ever be possible). In fact, I was nervous when he began to work on tightness. The techniques Roberto uses are gentle and effective when maneuvering joints - I feels like space is created with gentle shaking, manual massage and movement (in my case my shoulders and hips)I And of course, I enjoy the deep tissue which is always up for discussion (and I’m always encouraged to breath deep when needed). I usually schedule 90-minute or 60 minute sessions and I highly suggest taking advantage of the packages he offers). If you are looking for a massage to get the kinks and cracks out, looking for a LMT experienced with working on injuiries or just need a good fxcking massage - I highly recommend Roberto.

I was able to book online a slot for 2pm on the 30th of December for a 60 minute massage. I got ready and an hour before my session, I was told my spot was already booked by another person and that the online page was not updated. They offered another time and I requested if they can accommodate me earlier, they said they can give me the 3pm and after a while they cancelled again. It was so disappointing that a reservation has been paid and a confirmation email was sent only for my session to be cancelled over and over. They won’t even answer a phone call and communicate with you through text. Not very good customer service for me

So apparently, the owner will text you after you leave an honest review based on one’s experience. None of my narrative was twisted or exaggerated. The owner will only take praises and won’t receive criticism for growth and improvement of their system. The owner WILL NOT TRY TO RECTIFY OR CORRECT THE ISSUE, they will send you text messages like this. I wouldn’t trust anyone to give me a massage with an unprofessional temperament.
