Donburi House — Restaurant in Seattle

Food is amazing. However, I have been getting frustrating with the online order system. When I put my order in it spits it out to be ready 15-20 min after then usually, with text updates. I get a text that it’s being prepared a minute before the predicted pickup time and go down there (about 2-3 min walk) and it’s not ready. I say I’m here and they say it’ll be a minute, then I watch them start making it. Meanwhile I see someone in front of me order and get their food right away. My order comes out about 10 min after allotted time. I don’t order online just for payment convenience, I order so I can get my food without waiting at the restaurant. Then I get the text my order is ready 20 min after pickup time after I had already picked up my food 10 minutes ago. This same thing has happened 3 times and it’s frustrating. Still leaving 5 star review so I’m not the first guy to bring them down from 5 stars. Please fix your process or set better pickup time...

I love me some poke and this place is TOP notch! So sad now that it took me so long to check it out but now I have a poke fix very close to work! 🥰 The staff was friendly and they were happy to accomodate me when I asked for no ginger, just not a fan of ginger. The food was gorgeous, fresh and delicious! It was also the perfect temperature and a huge portion, I could barely finish it for lunch. I love that it comes with rice and greens since that's how I usually order it and I thought I would miss the crunchy toppings but I didn't! We’ve been coming here pretty often the past few weeks because the food’s usually great, but the last two visits were a letdown. A week ago, I found a small hair in my bow, looked like it could’ve been from a nose or arm and I was already halfway through eating. We decided to give it another shot, thinking it was just a fluke, but today my husband found a fruit fly in his poke bowl. Thankfully he hadn’t started eating yet, and they did make him a new one.
