First, the food server lady was wonderful. Warm smile, soft spoken, considerate and attentive. Good listener and took down my order correctly. Granted there were only 3 of us eating at 2pm on a Friday.

Long story short:

Good location, reasonably priced, good presentation, great people but just not spicy enough. My soup noodle was better than the Phad Thai. The Phad Thai just didn't make the roster cut, you know? Not major league (culinary) material.

Specifics:

I ordered Zap zap noodles choosing beef slices and egg noodles. I don't do bean sprouts so I asked for it not to appear. They did just that. Good. Out of the two items I ordered, this one was superior.

I also ordered the Phad Thai. It needed more "kick in the butt" spices. I realize I only ordered 3 out of 5 stars but I also added fish sauce and tiny green chile peppers, red chile paste and red powdered chile. It still wasn't hot enough for me.

Most of all, the Phad Thai just wasn't the Phad Thai I have grown to be in love with. I have eaten Phad Thai in all the major Asian populated cities in the US. This just didn't get close to my heart.

In all, I will go here again.

Next time, I will find a plate that I absolutely love and I will tell...

Came in for lunch on Labor Day. Fairly easy menu with your usual Thai offerings and some unique. It was hot as hades in there and there was a giant GIANT fan blowing but I sat outside which was lovely. Server was prompt and lovely. I ordered the Papa Noodle with beef - three stars. This dish was so incredibly delicious and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to describe it. It was a light red from the Sriracha so I was scared that was all I was going to taste but it was very complex! There was the spiciness but also an almost sweetness. The noodles were chewy and light and perfectly cooked. The beef was tender and the spinach was great. The only oddity was the green lettuce in the dish which I didn't care for. Even on a super hot day the dish was satisfyingly spicy and really delicious. Will for...

I came here on a friend's recommendation, and it was a wonderful surprise! Despite the average ratings, my experience was fantastic. The service was top-notch. The staff gave me great recommendations based on what I like, checked on me throughout the meal, and kept my water glass full without me having to ask. They were really attentive. I found the food excellent. Thai cuisine is a great choice for vegetarians and non vegetarians, and they use plenty of fresh vegetables with authentic ingredients. Having lived in Thailand, I can say the flavors were genuinely superb, even with a few modern twists. The atmosphere is lovely, with classic Thai décor and a nice outdoor seating area. Ordered takeout and unfortunately, most of the food was very bland and had very small portions for the price. Pad see ew, Thai fried rice, and Tom yum soup were all very bland, almost no flavor. We asked for mild spice on all dishes, but while most of the dishes had no flavor or spice, the parang curry was extremely spicy. Very inconsistent across dishes. Really wanted to like this place but probably won’t be going back. Also note there is a 5% to-go fee for takeout orders.
