Moti Mahal Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Seattle

I always order delivery here during the weekend! I love there chicken dum biryani and in general the food is great! Yesterday I ordered Chicken dum biryani and chicken pakora via doordash and as usual it was great BUT this time I found a big piece stone in the biryani and hurt my upper gum in my mouth luckily I didn't bite through to either break or chop my tooth. I called the restaurant immediately and said what I found and in response all I hear is the man over the phone saying they usually check the items pretty well and he isn't sure about it which I think is obvious, he simply said "I am sorry about that" I mean its understandable that accidents and mistakes happens but this thing could have got me into big dental issues, I was fortunate enough not to bite it hard.

I didn't wanted to leave a review but since the guy over the phone seemed to take this lightly, I thought I must warn other customers to please look into your food before you put it in your mouth for your safety. Otherwise this restaurant have great food.

Coming from India I had cravings for home food so ordered from here on Uber eats. Giving 2 stars ONLY BECAUSE paneer tikka masala curry, poppadoms and raita was somewhat okay. Even then the curry tasted like it was made with chilli paste (that is NOT how u make curry when someone asks for medium spicy) and Paneer tasted very average. (unlike their menu that says freshly homemade) Salted lassi had nothing but salt in it. I puked out as soon as I took a sip of it. Absolutely rubbish. Rice had hard lumps as if they gave me leftover from yesterday. Gave me some extra chutney when I asked for some side salad. Cleanliness: they are always cleaning and making sure it is just right for people to enjoy their delicious food.

View/ Ambience: it's a relaxed little mom and pops kind of shop. It is laid back and relaxed. Simple yet relaxed.

Taste: Aloo Kulcha: it is a Naan flatbread that is stuffed with spiced potatoes. It is flaky and delicious. They add the right amount of potatoes so you get some with every bite. I think they would add a little bit more spices to the potatoes give it a stronger flavor amd really make your taste buds explode. Other than that, it is delicious!
