First of all, the place was extremely cramped. The paper signs for the tables had food stains on them and were wrinkled. The woman taking our order made us buy more than we could eat when I asked her about how many people the pizza can satisfy. She said 2… The pizza was 17 inches. It didn’t even mention the size on the menu. She asked if we wanted something to drink so I said two waters. Each water costed over 4 dollars?? We also got a plate of spaghetti, and when she asked if we wanted meatballs or sausages on it we asked for meatballs. (She did not mention anything about adding money for the toppings, neither does the menu) When we paid, the meatballs were an additional 7 dollars for three. I gave a good tip when paying, but it realized that there was an automatic service tip of 20%. I spent 30 dollars on tips. When we began eating, they asked if we wanted plates, which we said yes to. Then they gave us PAPER PLATES. This is more like an expensive party than a restaurant. Honestly, it was only the middle aged lady taking our order that really ruined our experience. Still, never going back there again. Lastly, the pasta was really sour for some reason and the meatballs tasted worse than the ones from Costco. Anyone who considers going here, RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

Place was slow, in both senses. Everyone is next door at Pike place Chowder. I get the sense that they're still a new establishment and figuring it out on the ordering process. I won't hold this against them as I believe with time they'll get more efficient. The food, not including pizza by the slice, does take a bit to get to you, but it's cause it's fresh made in front of you. It doesn't take forever, but it's all made to order. Know this going in and you won't be upset if it's not fast enough. Lobster Ravioli was tasty. Spaghetti and meatballs was also very good. Meatballs are nice and big and clearly homemade. The sauce also tasted homemade. I was lucky to nab 2 slices of pepperoni fresh outta the oven. It was fantastic. There's a kind of Italian seasoning on it that gives it a fresh herb-y taste that was very welcome. The crust had good crunch to it, but was soft inside. My 5/3 yr olds both loved eating the crust and even talked about how much better it is than other pizza crusts. So while there was a small hiccup when ordering I think it'll be fixed soon. All the after the fact customer service of being checked in on, etc. Was awesome! This places deserves 5 stars.

Buyer beware - there’s a hidden 20% service fee on all transactions and then they have the audacity to ask for a tip on top without disclosing aforementioned hidden fee to you. Only discovered this when I contacted the business owner for a full itemized receipt when I saw the outrageous total on my bank statement. She had the audacity to argue that this is disclosed. LIES. I went there with my boyfriend - we sat ourselves, got water for ourselves, and ordered from a counter. Where’s the service??? The only message about a service fee only and in-store said for GROUPS … so in total I got tricked into paying 20% tip plus 15% on top of that for a mediocre pizza = $50 USD. Gross. No apology no ownership at all of this unethical business and it hits closer to home as a fellow hospitality worker myself where the standard practice is to verbalize to guests of any service fees before taking payment. Do not support dishonest businesses that take advantage of people plsssss! Open a chargeback if you get ripped off peeps.

Order the cheese pizza, lemon bars and a lemonade. Our grandma cant have cheese so she ordered something from another restaurant. Not only would they not let our grandma sit at the outside tables, they would not let my three kids under five sit down because I ordered our food to go. When you enter the door the restaurant says no inside seating. I didn’t know until after I walked out that there was an outside section across the street. The owner was very rude and even though there were open seats she would not make an exception for my two year olds after we spend $70 on pizza and lemon bars. $10 was tip - which I gave to support local business even though we weren’t even staying originally. There are plenty of delicious pizza places in Seattle - no need to support restaurants who are rude to customers, small kids and an eighty year old grandma! Unbelievable. We’re local and we won’t be back. In response to the owners feedback. In response to owner: We were not told there was outside seating. We were not told that we couldn't sit if outside food. I disagree that its not about the amount… every low rating comment posted is from someone spending under $100. You seem to have an issue with people not paying to sit and have alcohol to mark up their tab. Secondly - we offered to have the person with outside food not join us and we were still told no because we ordered to go originally. If you are a restaurant that wants to stay in business I recommend treating customers well. Your rude comments back to everyone are embarrassing for you and a deterrent for future customers. The fact that you haven’t picked up on that are a sure sign you wont be in...

Went there with my family today 1/7/2024. Ordered 3 pastas and a couple garlic breads and water. Bill came out to over 140 dollars. The owner Bruno, took our order and never mentioned the 20% service fee added to the bill as well as not letting us know that add ons would be extra. When we asked how the carbonara was, he said the "chicken carbonara" is the most popular item in the menu. With that, we of course assume that chicken comes with it, and isn't a 6 dollar add on. But he never mentions it to us and adds it to our bill. Water is 5 dollars and overpriced. We then after a 20 minute wait finally get one order of pasta, and the garlic bread. We never received the other two orders of pasta, and the one pasta we did get, came cold. Apparently, they had forgotten to make the others. Bruno did not seem to care in the slightest. He was more concerned about not letting us sit at the table that was only able to be sat by groups of 6 and over, when the restaurant is already very cramped. We were a party of 4 but weren't allowed to sit when there was no other guests in the restaurant at the time. He did recommend for us to split up our family and eat separately however. The pasta we did receive was the Pesto and it was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price tag of 22 dollars. All in all it was not a good experience and I would not recommend it in the slightest. The best part of the experience was getting a refund for the portion of the order we never got which Bruno gave begrudgingly....

I will never eat at this place again purely because of the dishonesty and rude customer service. The food was good, but not worth the price or hidden fees. A 20% service fee is absolutely ridiculous especially when you are not aware about it until after you are charged and asked for a tip. I work in the restaurant industry and we always let customers know about a service fee before we take their order so that they are aware of the additional cost being added to the order. 35% of my total was the service fee and tip (I tipped 15% even tho they did not deserve it). My friend used her card to charge the original full price so that I could Apple Pay her my portion of the bill later as we were traveling from Portland, and when I went to the same cashier to get a receipt printed she printed the wrong receipt and was bothered that I asked for the correct one. When having my order being taken, I noticed that I spilled some water near the register and asked if I could have some napkins to clean the spill to prevent other customers from slipping behind me and was handed a single napkin when I asked and clearly needed more to clean the puddle on the ground. I understand the stress of working in a restaurant, but it’s no excuse for rude customer service especially when you are charging such high service fees without the...
