Ruth's Chris Steak House left such a lasting impression that I couldn't resist breaking my habit of not writing reviews. The exceptional experience demanded acknowledgment, making it a dining memory worth sharing.
After two months of anticipation, my new secretary finally agreed to go on a date. To celebrate this special occasion, I took her to Ruth's Chris Steak House last Thursday, creating a memorable and delightful experience that added to the excitement of our newfound connection.
Ruth's Chris Steak House provided an exquisite setting for our first date. The ambience was elegant, the beverages were exceptional, and the food, especially the steak, was a culinary delight. The attentive service added to the overall outstanding experience, making it a memorable evening.
Notably, the cleanliness of the bathroom at Ruth's Chris Steak House was impeccable, reflecting the attention to detail and commitment to a top-tier dining experience. It contributed to the overall positive impression during our first date.
While the ambiance at Ruth's Chris Steak House was undoubtedly romantic, my date and I opted to keep things classy and refrained from any mischief in the bathroom, choosing to savor the exceptional dining experience instead.
The evening at Ruth's Chris Steak House took an even more delightful turn when I noticed my date looking as tender and captivating as the perfectly cooked steak on our table. It added a touch of romance to an already wonderful dining experience.
Although we skipped dessert at Ruth's Chris Steak House, the anticipation of indulging in each other's company was sweet enough for the night. We've made a pact to return and savor both the decadent desserts and the delightful ambiance on our next visit.
My date was so impressed with Ruth's Chris Steak House that she couldn't wait to find an opportunity to reward me for choosing such an outstanding venue. It seems our delightful experience has set the bar high for future date nights.
Given the wonderful experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House, my date and I are already looking forward to future visits. It's safe to say that this won't be our last delightful evening at this exceptional establishment.
In the event that things continue to go smoothly between my secretary and I, I'm contemplating the idea of hosting a divorce party at Ruth's Chris Steak House to mark the occasion with a positive and celebratory...
Read moreI was looking forward to this visit at Ruth Chris but again, they're still having service and communication issues between kitchen and waiting staff.
It was a Thursday afternoon. Sat down at bar. Wasn't clear who our waiter was and took a while for someone to come over to us despite it seemingly 15 staff running around. In the bar area one was distracted with another on their computer and one other wasn't very friendly or attentive. Eventually one of came by and took our order although went back and forth between a few different people.
Ordered cheeseburgers/fries. The one wait staff guy didn't write it down which was part of the problem of the challenges we experienced. GF asked for hers to be well done. Mine medium well. When we got them they were mixed up. I could eat mine though because I don't mind well done but my GF can't stand anything close to being rare (no pink) so had to send it back. In meantime I ate so wouldn't get cold while she waited for her food to be redone. That really sucked. We hate it when meals are out of synch as makes for poor dining experience. She did get it after about 10 min but I was nearly done with my burger by then. Do have to say though the burger was excellent albeit a bit thick. Steak fries quite good, freshly cut.
Because of the screw up WE had to call over the manager (annoying the bar waiter didn't think to address this issue himself personally). Thankfully the manager apologized apologized, comp'ed our meal and also a dessert. That was certainly appreciated and the right away to handle a situation with customers having a poor dining experience, despite the bar waiter trying to charge for my meal but that's not what the manager had said. And he was going to argue with this until we said, "let's call the manager back to clarify this". At that point he acquiesced, didn't charge us for the one meal while giving us the stink eye the whole time. For the record, wasn't looking for a free meal. We wanted a great dining experience and pay for it appropriately.
All in all, although I really wanted to give RC 5 stars as they're worthy of that but can only muster a 3-star because of wait staff attitude, responsiveness to customers and communication issues with kitchen. One easy fix-- write...
Read moreI believe Ruths Chris fell off. I recognized the difference in taste between the Bellevue restaurant (when it was open) vs. Seattle restaurant. The Bellevue restaurant has permanently closed. The Seattle restaurant was my go-to steakhouse, but I'm not interested on coming back.
Overall, my food was not good. I started with a ceasar salad that had more parmesan cheese than ceasar dressing. It was closer to dry. My garlic mashed potatoes were oily, but did not make a fuss about that, because I mixed it up in the plate so I can no longer see the layer of film on the top & side of the dish. My lobster was small. I had to savior it slowly because I was done with it in 2-3 bites.
I upgraded my filet to 11 oz, and that was a mistake. I made the recommendation on Yelp to other patrons to please tell the wait staff to cut in half and not to place on a 500 degree plate. My filet was totally different from the last time I dined here. I asked for a medium steak without the 500 degree or medium-rare with the 500 degree plate. My filet came to the table on a 500 degree plate well done and crispy burnt on the top. My filet was blue in the center and well done on the bottom. By the end of my stay, my filet was fully cooked through and I felt like I was eating a burnt cookie. Absolutely not satisfied.
If I came back, it would be because of the sweet potato casserole. This is the best thing this chain has to offer. Hopefully, no other restaurant steals that recipe.
Because of how bad the food was, I wanted to leave. I believe my impatience on being ready to leave, made my waiter seem more slower than normal. Originally, he had only a couple patrons to wait on, but then his area got full. He did ask me how were the first two bites, I sighed and said "it was alright." I don't want to be that "person" to complain, so I rather write reviews instead. I had to wait on my small cheesecake for a while and I did not eat because it was not appealing. I boxed up my own sweet potato casserole, paid, tipped, and left disappointed. Not a good look for a Christmas lunch for...
