The food was really good here! For being located in Seattle, it was a good value and was absolutely fire 🔥. Everything was well presented, and was a large portion. Seattle can be very expensive, but this place hit the spot without hitting my wallet!

A note. I am indifferent to vaccine cards or masks etc, but this food location still requires vaccine verification to dine in despite king County mandate/ordinance dropping this requirement on March 1st. This is a personal choice this establishment decided to take, and every business has the right to refuse service for any reason.

I personally have no problem with this, but I am not everyone. If you cannot conform to this requirement for whatever reason, you can show proof of PCR test, or get take out, but don't take it out on the customer service staff. They have no deciding factor in this, and are just doing what they are told. Be considerate...

I have been coming to this place since about 1996 and I am pretty sure the same family has owned it the whole time. I have watched the husband and wife owners grow older as well as their children ( I assume). The family is super nice, the place is spotless and well run. Have never gotten a bad meal here in about 200-300 times I have been there. I have tried other places in a pinch, but none have been anywhere as good. Parking can be a slight challenge. Hope this place does not get pushed out for yet another crappy apartment block.

Update: Soon after the above review was written it looks like someone else took over the place and made a lot of changes. Unfortunately, not for the better....rating drops to...

I've been going to this place for over ten years. It used to be called Teriyaki Bowl but changed hands early during the pandemic. Things started to change slowly. The presentation/ packaging became fancier and the prices increased a little. Things got worse. About a year or so ago, every time I ordered here the food was terrible. Super dry, sometimes burnt. Rice smelled and tasted off. Veggies seemed precooked, leftover and microwaved to order. So I stopped ordering. Recently, a neighbor of mine had mentioned that it had gotten better. So, I gave it a try. Yes, things have gotten better. I've eaten there three times in the last week. Keep it...

Seattle's Teriyaki scene is competitive, and I'm always looking for a new spot. I tried TERIKing, which stands out for offering a selection of different Asian styles beyond just teriyaki. I ordered takeout: the Vegetable Yaki Udon (which also comes as Soba). It was served with a side of rice. While the portion size is large, I found it a bit pricey for what it was. The vegetables were fresh, but the overall flavor was bland—I needed to add chili sauce to give it a kick. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. I might return to sample their namesake teriyaki dishes, but based on this, it was mediocre and didn't particularly stand out.

Ordered the sweet and sour chicken and Chicken Katsu, let me start off by saying the staff was really nice and helpful and the fried rice was really good, but that's where this experience turned bad... the sweet and sour chicken tasted old and was very chewy, the sauce tasted like they didn't cook the cooking wine out, and the salad was brown and inedible. The Chicken Katsu was really hard and the white rice had a weird taste to it, I grew up in Hawaii and Katsu is a staple out there, I really wanted to like this place but it was not delicious.

The worst teriyaki ever, bad service, they lie on the menu. I ordered chicken kung pao for dinner, in the photo of the menu you can see a real Kung pao chicken, like vegetables, chilies, chives, onion stalk etc. And this is what I received, I asked the man who attended me that maybe he confused my food order and that it does not look like in his photo menu, his answer was that this is what there was and that the photo menu is old . He didn't even ask if he wanted to change it, he turned around and left me there at the register.
