Recently ate here prior to the opera, service was extremely slow unfortunately, was served a plate of two spring rolls (instead of 1 which was what we ordered), the server left our table and we (having never been there before) didn't realize that they had served 2 instead of 1 and so began to eat the spring rolls, a few minutes later the server returned to our table and asked to exchange the rolls she had served us for the roll we ordered, she then switched plates, and took one piece to replace the one that we had eaten, also she exchanged the peanut sauce dish that we had also used right there on our table, she took the original plate back to the kitchen, appalled at this we waited in horror for her to serve another table the 2 count spring roll that had been served to our table which she did a short while later, we are confident that she re-served that because the rolls were all a uniform size except for the one that was clearly out of place. YUCK!! this must violate some health code if not basic restaurant service norms, should have either just ate the cost or asked us if we were ok with the change and therefore pay (NBD), the curries that we ordered were very delicious however do not come with rice, the portions of rice are very small and are a la carte, overall this place seems overrated as there are so many other great Thai restaurants around, after witnessing them re-serve food will not be going...
Read moreHands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Seattle, and honestly some of the best food of any kind that I’ve had in my life.
We were a group of six tonight and ordered quite a few dishes to share amongst ourselves. The staff executed the service with so much grace and immaculate timing, which is not easy to do for larger groups!
Every component of every dish was super fresh, perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated. Spice, acidity and sweetness were thoughtfully balanced in everything we ordered. We were all floored and borderline emotional about it. The green papaya salad was crisp, with a bright and complex dressing. The crab fried rice features a generous portion of egg and succulent crab meat, and the rice itself had incredible texture. Their peanut sauce is to die for, it was like velvet! So many beautiful dishes, but those were my personal highlights :)
Overall a truly special meal, exceptionally prepared by professionals who clearly love and honor the food they serve.
It was my first time coming here and the staff told our group they had recently reopened after closing to renovate and refresh their menu. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s time to pay them a visit! I’ll be thinking about this meal for a long time and can’t wait to go back.
Thank you to the attentive and friendly service staff and to the talented and thoughtful chefs who made our food. You are all...
Read moreIf there was 1/2 a star, we would give it to this restaurant. We spent a good amount of time collecting orders from the team. When we called them, even though they advertise delivery, we were informed that they had no driver.
So our boss drove and picked up the food. Then it arrived and we've been regretting it ever since. I ordered the SUMMER GREEN. It was in the meatless section, and apparently what they mean by meatless is a bunch of thawed frozen vegetables heated up in a microwave with a plastic tub of peanut butter mixed with oil. Apparently salt must not be very popular in whatever part of Thailand their cooks come from.
The ORANGE CHICKEN is almost drinkable like a soup, and like the SUMMER GREEN, was completely devoid of that rarest of dining expecations, "flavor".
The FRIED RICE came with uncooked tomatoes, and frozen pineapple chunks. It's eater desperately searched for salt, pepper, or a little sriracha, to no avail.
One star for the PUD THAI, whose eater was happy with the food. Actually looks not too bad, and tastes...
