okay so,

“The Traveling Goat” the name, the google provided photos, it sets an apparent ambiance of industrial jazz spot— and while they (allegedly) have jazz, the on demand music pumping through the speakers is enough to give a person whip lash. The server was lovely, and I’m sure the bartender as well. but the drinks!!! gag. very bad. (and premade cold brew martinis???? please be serious!!!). Back to the ambiance of the place, not only was the music a screamo song directly followed by a tyler the creator song, the tv steadily streaming sports derails the vibe in a major way. If you’re gonna be a sports bar then just commit to that atmosphere rather than ruin the one you’ve obviously meticulously curated. Hopefully this place is just trying to find its sea legs and gets itself together ambiance wise. Overall the experience was decent.

also they didn’t provide water which is...

Love this place! Their happy hour, food, drink, vibe is a great experience. Bartender is on top of everything, makes good drinks and truly cares about the customer.

Love the ample wall and USB charging outlets!! So thoughtful.

Stopped in after walking 5 miles around Queen Anne and were thirsty. Ordered the HH dark & stormy, the HH lemon drop, Larb and butter chicken tacos, crispy hand breaded wings, cheesy tots, and cobalt rush.

My favorite things were the butter chicken tacos (so good!!) and the dark & stormy. The Larb is pretty spicy and I have a zero spice tolerance, but my husband who loves spice enjoyed them. The wings are awesome if you love crunchy and savory.

Bingo seems pretty popular here though we did not play. It can get a bit loud with the game so if you're seeking a more intimate experience be mindful of this :)

Cheers and see you next time...

Update 5.22.23: Even moreWonderful. The food, service and atmosphere has only gotten better. They've also gotten good at handling a full house and still providing quick service and delicious food. Recommend the butter chicken tacos, the special ribs on rice (tiny bit spicy) and the fried wontons. Every cocktail we have tried has been great and now they have draft beer!

Original: neighborhood bar with great dinner! I was expecting just bar snacks but the food is delicious and filling. Atmosphere great and the staff is awesome. We will be returning and will try happy hour next time. I also like he traveling theme and that they have tons of wall outlets. If I ever need a place to plug in my laptop and get a bite and beer this will be...

From the moment you go into this place you are greeted with a smile and a hello. If the owner who is at the helm 90% of the time knows your name or has seen your face before they greet you by name and that's important. Being made to feel like you belong in a space from the moment you get in there is hands down a perfect start. Then you get into the carefully prepared food which is very flavorful and consistent. If you go here even once try the wings! The atmosphere feels like you're actually in another place with beautiful art on the walls and decorations to match.
