Question how is it even possible that a business with the word "steak" in its name could serve a horrible steak?
When I first arrived I was thinking great ambiance it SHOULD result in great drinks and a great steak meal.....BOY WAS I WRONG!
Initially I requested 3 different brands of beer none of which the restaurant carried so I settled for the Sangria. When the drink was brought to me I thought big glass big flavor but it was average at best.
In the beginning the young man that waited on me was effervescent and courteous and I complimented him on his Italian name he was absolutely great.....UNTIL.....I made him aware of my over cooked EXTREMELY TOUGH Porterhouse steak! He then took a completely different posture as to defensively defend the doneness of my steak!
Let's talk about the steak LongHorn's signature Porterhouse steak I believe it was 22oz. It is in no way an exaggeration that the steak was so tough that when I tried to cut into it that the plate moved back and forth as I tried to cut into the steak! (Laughable but true)
As the server was standing next to me to show and prove that I wasn't exaggerating about the toughness of the steak I asked him to try cutting it.....professionally he declined.
But as I previously stated his (the server) attitude completely changed there was no more smiling there was zero empathy the only thing he kept repeating was "that steak is perfectly cooked to medium!" Even when I made him aware that the steak was over cooked and that I believed it was a bad cut of beef. Instead of him being apologetic and empathetic he acted defensively and even if I annoyed him that I would have the NERVE to bring the situation to his attention!
After his insistence several times he eventually asked me if I wanted another steak my response was no when it should have been HELL NO!!!
Regardless of the outcome I still gave the young man a tip but I also gave myself a tip as well and that was I felt it was an INSULT that LongHorn would have the word "steak" in their name and deliver a horrible steak and horrible customer service experience!!!!
The ONLY good thing about my LongHorn Steakhouse experience was being able to stand at the bar and watch a personal friend being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio.....other than that my experience at LongHorn Steakhouse is forgettable and I am sorely disappointed.
Hopefully your experience will be better I don't see me ever going there again!

Read moreI am sitting here as I’m completing this review. It is 1735. I stopped here to kill time near the airport prior to picking my son up from BWI. I ordered the margarita to start, which taste like a virgin. I thought to myself, okay let’s not do that again…😔 I then ordered some wings with an Oktoberfest…
I don’t like saying to much out loud, when it comes to those in charge of my food…🤨
I did notice the wings didn’t look completely done…. Though I figured I’ll give it the benefit of a doubt… after about the 3rd one, I could not take it anymore… I then pulled two more open & they weren’t done just as well. Shortly after that, while still sitting at the bar, I got the sudden urge to £€

We arrived on time and checked in with the host. They couldn’t find our information at first. Then we waited for 30-40 minutes to be called. We came back to the host stand and the young lady looked disgusted. She mumbled something and we all looked puzzled. Then she walked off. We stood there trying to decipher what happened. I finally got her attention and asked did she want us to follow her. She tried to put us in a booth. I explained that we requested a table on the phone and verified it when we checked in. She was definitely bothered by the request and rolled her eyes at us. We were finally seated in front of the bathroom. That is unacceptable. My mother asked to have the table moved. Our request was begrudgingly honored. Then we discovered that the table was in a position where everyone that walked by hit a member of my family. We had to move the table ourselves just to be seated properly. It took forever for our waiter to come over. He brought bread and butter but no drinks. The bread was lukewarm with cold butter. We waited and watched as other tables got waited on around us. The manger was totally dedicated to another group and we were being ignored. We finally got drinks and two of them were wrong. Again no waiter. We were never asked about appetizers or anything else for that matter. My very young daughter was starving at this point and we were clearly being treated badly. We finally got the waiters attention to ask for the check and he said sure. This was not the correct response. He should have gotten his manager and asked why a large party was just leaving. He almost seemed happy we were leaving. We paid $19.00 for soda and terrible service. Longhorn did everything that night to try and ruin our celebration. This is unacceptable for any...
