I purchased a cake for a 40th birthday party. I will start by saying that the cake was beautiful and it tasted good. We noticed when we ate it that it did not have Guava filling. I was really disappointed as I was excited to have that special feature for my Hawaiian guy and I reached out to her to find out what happened.

I started the conversation by letting her know the cake was beautiful and tasted good but that we noticed the filling was not the guava. I was trying to figure out what I was charged for, and where our communication got mixed up. Her first communications were polite but then I went to ask a question trying to understand the pricing breakdown and what I was charged for and I noticed she blocked me and I couldn't send my question. a minute later she unblocked me and responded to another message I had sent. That comment she sent was not technically rude but kind of abrupt and uncaring. I then asked my question about the pricing breakdown. Her next message was that she would respond with the breakdown and then "we were done". She sent the message and then blocked me so I could not reply.

I am giving her a bad review because I feel it is really unprofessional to block a client. Especially one that has not been rude or disrespectful. I had not asked for a refund or said anything mean whatsoever. I was just disappointed I did not get what I wanted or thought I paid for and wanted to understand. If I could give no stars I would- I just had my wedding on Friday and I almost cried when I saw my cake. It was something out of the “Nailed It” show on Netflix. I put my trust in our wedding cake being amazing, but it was anything but. We ordered a three layer cake with fondant and an airbrushed blue mountain look on the cake with silver accents, but we got a 2 layer cake with buttercream slapped on it and what looked like glitter Elmer's glue all over the sides and top. Also, we asked for some flowers, but got none. It looked like something a 5 year old did. Also, the chocolate cake we got was bitter (thinking it was dark chocolate)? The strawberries were thrown in the middle instead of throughout the cake (in between the layers of cake). The bakery didn’t even attempt to incorporate our animals like we asked, fondant or white chocolate 3D animals like my mother-in-law asked, instead it was drawn on a super hard cookie and stuck on the front. We even found a vanilla wafer in our cake when we didn’t ask for them?.... I have no other words, except I would never recommend this place to family and friends. I have posted pictures as well of it- I was so embarrassed by it. My mother-in-law cried and felt so bad, which made me (the bride) very upset. They had the audacity to charge $257.02 for this cake!

Love this place! Met them at the Robert Tino Art Gallery about two years ago maybe and fell in love with their stuff. Now we always order from them. Incase you all didn’t know, they are able to create edible sheets from pictures. That cake that has the 379 Peterbilt was one they did for me and it turned out absolutely beautiful. They put love into the cake because they added something extra and made the trim look like a road it was super thoughtful. My brother amd everyone loved the cake. And the cake and cupcakes don’t dry out! So much love for this place. The flower cupcakes were for my birthday my mom said make something with flowers as this was the outcome I loved them they were so pretty amd the lemon cake was so good we requested the creme cheese icing on this.
