I went late night, around 11. Being as they are one of the only places open late I expected there to be a long line. I had already placed a mobile order. The thing I like about Wendy's is that they don't make the food until you check in at the drive thru. This usually ensures fresh food as opposed to other places that prepare the order and put it on a shelf to get cold. There was indeed a long line but it was because the person taking orders would only do one order at a time. Meaning, he took the order at the intercom, that person went to the window and paid/waited on food, then after they drove off he would take the next order at the intercom. So it was easily 5-10 minutes between each order. As I said, I had a mobile order, when I got to the intercom and told them, he informed me that they don't have frostys. (I have 4 on my order which I paid extra for in my combo meals). He doesn't offer to substitute them for other desserts or even for drinks. When I asked him he said they couldn't do substitutions so I would have to get in touch with the app people. I had to wait 15 mins on my food because they had to drop my chicken nuggets, which is fine but my burgers and fries sat there getting cold for 15 minutes while the nuggets cooked. Read morejust got back from there and will never again go back to this location, went in because i was craving a chili and cheese baked potato. when i got there there was a lady in the parking lot that works there, the side door wasn't working so had to walk around to the front, went to kiosk to place my order which i was YELLED to be told it wasn't working as well and this is a fairly new store. the lady taking orders was so very slow, could only do one customer at a time and what i mean is takes the order then waits on the order to come up prepared then she bags it and serves the customer then goes to wait on another and no they weren't short handed, as i said at first about a lady in the parking lot, she went in and out 3 times while i was standing there, i finally gave up as i only get 45 mins. for lunch, i went across the street to A&W and was three in front of me there and when i was being handed my order i saw to couple that was in front of me at this Wendys where just walking out with there order so i made the right decision. this is only the 3rd time i have went to the new location but it has been a hassle every time i have been and today is the last i will go, to many choices in that area...get it...
Read moreVisited this location with my family after a fun day at soaky Mountain. Decided to stop by for dinner before we drove home. I stood at the register in the dining room for 8 minutes before any one finally acknowledged me. Two separate employees looked at me multiple times without uttering a word to me. Eventually, a third employee told me that the only person able to take my order on the dining room register was a manager named Reece/Reese. He then informed me that Reece/Reese stepped out and he was not certain when he would return. He offered to gave my order taken at the drive thru window but I decided instead to leave and go somewhere else. Fairly disappointed in everyone aside from the 3rd employee that actually acknowledged that I was waiting and went to find the only manager that could take my order. Definitely sounds like a different process needs to be in place or you need to ensure that someone is able to take orders for the dining room if you plan to step away.
