I don’t write reviews but this needs to be said. We have been patrons of this Papa John’s for over a year and we frequent it often. I don’t know if it’s a change of management, loss of staff, or any other reason but our past 2 recent experiences have been the worst I’ve ever encountered. We order our pizza via the Papa John’s app, prepay, and just wait until the app tells us our pizza is ready. We arrive when the app tell us our pizza is ready. The staff informs us that they haven’t started it and it’ll be another 45 minutes to a hour. We were very frustrated with this and had them cancel our order and left. We thought this was a one time fluke. We went today and we did the same thing, ordered on their app and showed up when our pizza said it was ready. We arrived and they tell us it will be out shortly. 15-20 minutes pass and we ask for an update on our pizza. They said it would be out shortly. I asked about how long it would be because our pizza said it was ready 20 minutes ago. The front employee completely ignored my question and went on to attend to another customer. I stood at the front waiting to ask again because I was ignored and the employee walked away. Later I notice the employee looking at the names on the pizza. Keep in mind, he knew my name for the order. Another 30 minutes go by and my fiancé asks for an update on our pizza. They went to look at the pizzas that were sitting on the rack for a long time and sure enough, our pizza was on there from when I saw the employee looking a long time ago. I told him my bad experience today and the last bad experience. While I was talking the music started playing, (it don't take a rocket scientist to know that he put me on hold and didn't tell me to hold on). So he comes back in 2mins and say ma'am do you want to talk to a manager and I said Yes. Then he says they say they are busy making pizza so I said so they are the one's that made my pizza ( remind you it's 2 manager's). He said it's more than them making pizza's so I said you know what I work for different companies in the area that dominos pizza are at and I flagged you all ate 1 company and we use Sam's Club and I think it's time for me to flag you all for the other 2 companies. This is the worst pizza place to deal with, management wouldn't even come to the phone to solve the situation. The guy on the phone blamed the delivery driver. So I said if it's the driver fault then I need my tip back from you all. I'm laughing about this situation because the driver don't make the pizza. That just shows you how management and your coworker railroads you when you don't even know it. You all are wrong and needs to be shut down. Read moreI’ve never in my life had such terrible luck with Papa Johns until we visited this area. After several calls - trying to locate who delivers to the Homewood Suites - a manager of another store found the correct one (went the extra mile). I placed my order at 10:40pm. The employee was great. Didn’t expect it to go downhill from there. It closes at 12. At 11:55pm I call to check in since pizza has yet to arrive and usual wait is 30-45 min. He says he tried to call (nothing on my cell) to say they were running a little late because they had 8 orders and two drivers, but assured me they were on the way. I said that was fine. Here it is 12:48pm and no pizza. My six kids are asleep and I’m trying to decide if I should stay up or go to bed... so frustrating after a long day of traveling. They have charged my card and I will be having a conversation to get that charged removed. #sodisappointing.
Update: spoke to store who said they were at my door for 15-20... (whatever.... I’ve been sitting here waiting for two hours). I don’t appreciate being lied to. They didn’t even bother to go to the main lobby if they “couldn’t find me”. Just so frustrating. After 4 he’s sleep and driving 8 hrs - staying up until 1am and being told a bunch of stories...
