KANOK Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Solvang

We stumbled on this new restaurant that had just opened. The unassuming entrance led to a beautiful lounge/bar on the left and a beautiful black staircase leading up to the restaurant. The decor is stunning, right down to the leather seats. The staff was super friendly and very helpful in making our food selections. And we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing! Ample portions, fresh and full of flavor. And the prices are surprisingly reasonable, My only suggestion would be to add hooks in the woman's restroom stalls. Other than that, don't change a thing!! Tried Kanok Thai on their first Monday open and was so impressed! The hostess was friendly, my order was ready quickly, and the yellow curry and Thai iced tea were both excellent. The space itself is stylish and inviting, with a bar/lounge downstairs and a gorgeous dining area upstairs. I am so happy to finally have this type of Thai cuisine in The Valley - high quality ingredients and reasonable prices. Can’t wait...
