I went to this breusters for the first time in a year bevaise I had a bad experience last time and I order a chocolate milkshake and a large waffle bowl with vanilla icecream and strawberry topping and an extra waffle bowl. They even went iver my order again at the window because whoever took my order couldn't seemingly understand this straightforward order I made. I then was given my order and I had to ask for the extra waffle bowl as they left that out. Then I get home and I have vanilla icecream with marshmallow cream all over it and butterfingers! I didn't order marshmallow cream on anything! I hate marshmallows so I had to throw out the entire thing and didn't get any ice cream because by the time I would've gone back they would be closed. This is ridiculous. I'll never go back to this place again! They owe me 15 dollars! I paid for then to double check my order and still screw it up. This is what I get for trying this place again. Not to mention whoever made this is a toddler as it looks like my 4 year old just dumped all this on the floor and stomped on it a bunch and then threw it in a bowl. It was so full the icecream and topping was all over the top of the bowl. I have to say too the vanilla ice cream just wasnt good at all. It was thin and runny and there was almost zero vanilla flavor. The vanilla out of the harris teeter brand carton is better than what was in this bowl. Im sure some people like this ice cream but it was not good. It wasnt like any ice cream ive ever gotten from this place either. I had a chocolate shake and that was great but unfortunately that wasnt for me so i only got to taste it. I understand at least from their website that they make the ice cream at the store and i think someone either made a bad batch this time or what i got was something else entirely and not vanilla but the ice cream literally had zero taste. It was like there was no sugar in the ice cream at all. Im not sure if they have sugar free vanilla but if they do then they messed up and used that in my order. This was so bad. I would appreciate my money back but it would be more trouble than it's worth to try and get the children that work there to be professional. That was another problem. The girl taking orders was trying to do everything and the two guys were standing around doing nothing. The ither guy who apparently made this slop like order needs a lesson in how to scoop ice cream and mix in toppings. There is a place right up the road called SCOOP AND SWIRL and they are a small business not a chain and their ice cream is a thousand times better but they weren't open. Next time I'll just wait because I've never had bad ice cream there but this breusters must be so used to so many families coming and sitting outside to eat ice cream that they feel like they don't have to make good ice cream anymore to get business. If they keep handing out orders like what I was given they will see...
Read moreI moved to NC a year ago and got introduced to the local Ice Franchise by my cousins who live in the area. Never had a problem with it, a bit expensive but very well worth the money. Customer service was top quality I believed, but there is always a bad apple to ruin the bunch. Me and my husband went there 3 consecutive day in a row July 21, 22, and 23 of 2018, but on the second day I asked for a side of whipped cream and it was free of charge. On the following day I was charged .55 cent for double the sprinkles at .25, .25 cent a piece in place of whipped cream. When I called the manager she told me Kendall didn't want to charge me so she charged the cheapest she could at .25 for sprinkles while the whipped cream charge is .75 cent. That would make sense if she didn't charge me twice for sprinkles since she wanted to charge me less. My husband is black so I will presume it's a race thing. What further cements this notion is the manager lying about .75 cent whipped cream charge. If the option for .75 cent was there Kendall would have used it because Kendall wanted to punish my husband for buying ice cream lol. I can't say Bruster's as a whole is racist but Kendall is for sure. These small excursions are things that go unchecked all the time in black and white, but no more....
Let's see what happens the next time I go. My one bad experience doesn't take away from there product or business model. It is still...
Read moreMy family of 5 went to grab ice cream last night around 9pm, Allie took our order and she was friendly to us until we pointed out someone put the wrong ice cream scoops into 1 of the bowls! She then looks at us...rolls her eyes and sighs like it's our fault that the ice cream was made wrong especially since it was rung up correctly on the receipt. Allie then turns around throws the returned ice cream cup back in freezer and then remakes the correct one. When she comes back, she rolls her eyes again and then says is this finally the right ice cream now? My 8 year old kid couldn't even reply because they were in shock at how immature and rude someone could be to someone so young. To the manager if this young lady is going to continue to work here,I would suggest she doesn't interact with guest at the front of the house or maybe she needs to find a job that's not in customer service. We are disappointed in her behavior and if this continues then you will keeps getting complaints from...
