I asked the super sweet door girl if I could sit at the bar and she said sure go ahead it’s open seating. I went to wash my hands in the restroom and came to the bar but there was no clean spots to sit. Cups and empty plates in 4 different seats people in most the others. So I found a clean table and sat down with a great view of the game . Waited waited waited. Lots of people past me, but no one said anything I was just about to get up and leave when the bartender was shouting over the bar (apparently) to get my attention, I couldn’t hear her I said pardon and put my hand to my ear (like huh), and she said are you waiting for someone to come help you? I smiled and nodded yes, rather than shout back. She then proceeded to shout and say well no one‘s coming over there, we’re only seating at the bar. I got up from my table and approached the bar only to motion at all the dirty dishes and food on the bar and said well I’m not sitting in a dirty seat and walked out.
As mentioned I already I tried to belly up to the bar, but there was dirty dishes and not one but four different places so I sat my happy butt down after a long day and a stressful week at the nearest table.I was hungry and ready to spend some money. She was rude and treated me poorly. I stood up from my seat and said well I tried to sit at the bar, but there was no clean seats available. I don’t like to be handled like an idiot let alone like I don’t belong in an establishment that I frequent quite often. I’ve been to many Texas roadhouse ever since we were still allowed to throw peanut shells on the floor. You should really take a look at your customer service. All she would’ve had to do is come around the bar for two seconds and said hey sweetheart, nobody sitting over here would you like to sit at the bar? I’ll clean your spot or something like that more flies with honey, right? Bad attitudes spread. She’s probably rude to your bussers and that’s why they weren’t bussing her station. I left the restaurant without having a bite to eat and drove 6 miles to the next Texas roadhouse where I was treated with love and compassion and a great plate of food. Do better and treat people kindly you don’t know what they’re...
Read moreWe were placed into the noisiest place in the restaurant, the north room. When that room is full of people and they have the volume up to mach Jesus, you cannot hear the person next to you speak and it is PAINFUL to the ears.
While the noise was not an issue yesterday, (only three other smallish tables were seated there and the music was, thankfully, at a reasonable level, the TEMPERATURE was FRIGID. You could FEEL the temperature drop when walking in from the restaurant to that room.
BOTH fans were on and pointing downward and it EASILY could have been 50 degrees in there. The busser turned the fan off above our table but that didn't help. Perhaps the restaurant didnt get the memo that we're in a bit of a cold spell right now and that those fans are optimal IN THE SUMMER, not early spring when there is ICE in standing water in the morning.
We asked our server, the host, AND the manger to PLEASE turn on the heater but it didn't happen before we left. The butter that came with my shrimp was congealed within 10 minutes, the butter in my husbands corn congealed, and our food was COLD within the same time. The salad dad had stayed cold instead of warming and wilting. I wore my coat the entire time, as did my table mates and my hands were COLD. It was downright miserable.
The blooming onion was, per usual, overcooked, dad's steak was overcooked and tough, while my husband and I seemed to fare better and had excellent steaks. I brought about 90% of my food home to eat where I could enjoy it in the warmth.
We left a huge tip for the server as he was PHENOMENAL but I am not entirely certain we'll dine in again as they just cannot seem to make that place patron friendly.
Speaking with others in the room, they were just as cold and...
Read moreReally good experience at this location. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and the food was very good. There was a small issue with my steak. I asked how The Cook's have been doing that night and was informed that they have been doing very well so I ordered a Pittsburgh style steak unfortunately at most of the Utah locations they seem to think this means you need to pile a bunch of seasoning on there and make it the equivalent of a burnt salt lick. I asked the waiter to please ask them to only use the normal amount of steak seasoning. He noted it went back and spoke to the staff and yet when my state came out it was salty as all hell. I mentioned this to our server and he took care of it very quickly it was a very positive experience, shortly after the manager came over and informed me that even though they had told them to cook another steak they had not even started it yet. They apologized profusely and we're very quick to remedy it. Honestly the customer service was so good I didn't even care our server his name was Bryce he was very attentive I just a very friendly happy person..it was pleasure being his guests and the manager her name is escapes me unfortunately she was absolutely amazing as well even though there was a small mistake it was by far one of the best experiences I've had at a Texas roadhouse. Thank you Bryce and I'm sorry I forgot that managers name but they both made the experience wonderful and it was much appreciated as I have been dealing with numerous medical issues and hospital stays and have seriously been wanting a steak for no joke many many months 😊👍 I will be returning and hope to see...
