Lake Tahoe AleWorX Stateline has EARNED my official stamp of approval. Located in walking distance of all three (3) casinos (MontBleu, Hard Rock, and Harrah’s) on the Nevada Stateline side, Lake Tahoe AleWorkX is one of the best restaurants / bars / pizzeria / and clubs in the area. With a deep wood inspired modern decor, this is the perfect place for families, date night, or a casual place to drink. Lake Tahoe AlexWorX has a full bar and several different beers on tap, similar to a side machine. There is open seating and patrons can sit wherever they like. There is seating both inside and outside, and they outside seating is nestled in a circular setting around a large fire pit. Also, they have a DJ that plays top 40 almost everyday! On Friday and Saturday nights, you can experience silent disco, which is a lot of fun and customer favorite. During my stay in Lake Tahoe, I visited this place three times (3x), which is a rarity for me. The wait staff is awesome, shout to Kinsey, Jamie, and Hailey, who were all amazing! Now, let’s talk about the amazing food!!!! I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip with pita bread and I can honestly say, it’s the BEST I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if it was the seasoning, but, I’ve never had spinach and artichoke dip that was soooo good. I would definitely recommend trying it. I also ordered the wood fire pizza, which was equally amazing! I would recommend the Margherita or Pepperoni Pizza! The crust was like, fluffy, and flaky!!! Lastly, I had the Cajun shrimp sandwich with kettle chips which was also great!!! This is a MUST TRY location!!

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! (They automatically added gratuity and charged us PER INGREDIENT for a basic bloody Mary drink totaling $66 for 2 drinks!) * Receipt pictured* We visited Lake Tahoe AleWorX Stateline and ordered two Bloody Marys, one espresso martini, an ahi tuna salad, and a pizza Bianca. The food was average, but the billing experience was incredibly disappointing. Our server never told us the total or showed an itemized receipt--just asked for our card. When we got back to our hotel and looked closer, we realized we were charged $66 for two basic Bloody Marys. When I called to ask why, they said the "Tito's" charge was for the vodka and the "Bloody Mary" charge was just for the mix(no alcohol)--so we were literally billed separately for both parts of one drink, had we known that's how they run things in a pizza restaurant, we would've never ordered them. We're from San Francisco, where prices are high, that's outrageous- especially since the Bloody Marys only came with a few pickled vegetables and no protein like most places include. To make things worse, they automatically added a $20 gratuity without mentioning it, then the payment screen still asked us to add 20% tip. When we called an hour after we left we were told the manager would follow up, but it's been days and no one has called. The lack of transparency, confusing charges, and hidden gratuity made the whole experience end on a bad note and will not recommend or come back. CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY!

We came here because it was one of the only places still open after 10 pm. The overall service and taste of food was good. But here's why I'm putting 2 stars. I ordered a bandita, which is a tequila cocktail. I'll post a photo of my empty glass. I am definitely a light weight and a single glass this size of any other tequila drink will normally have me feeling a tiny bit of a buzz. At least the start of one. The flavor of the cocktail was good, but it definitely tasted watered down and there was a giant ice cube so I got much less that what the glass could actually hold. IT WAS $16 DOLLARS. WHY!? The BBQ carnitas pizza was 26, worth it. The prime rib French dip was 21, not worth it. The kids pasta was 14, almost worth it. We spent $82 before a tip on with only these 4 items. The best bang for buck during our meal was honestly the water, which was free. I'm pretty sure all restaurants here use lake Tahoe water which is just....amazing. I have had much better food at different Tahoe locations that I'd be happy to pay this price for, but they've been much cheaper and have water just as good. It's a shame because our server was really nice, but it just wasn't a good enough experience to justify the price or going back.

We walked in to a very lively scene, the younger tourist crowd was certainly having a good time! We were with my in-laws and they are not into the party scene, (squares, lol.) The bartender was a multitasking master, she greeted us immediately and let us know that she would be right with us. We were a little worried about being able to get a table, as the place was packed and we walked in as a party of 8. The bartender soon finished dealing with other customers and asked about our party size. She asked us to give them a few minutes and they would set something up. My mother in law growled something about "somewhere more quiet!" Un-fazed and with a giant smile she responded "Of course, dear, I'll get you as far away from these crazies as I can." Some minutes later, maybe 5 or so, our server came and parted the sea of partiers. I soon realized how big this place is! It seemed to get quieter the further we went back. We were seated near the kitchen and given waters pretty quickly. The pizza coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! Our server told us that he needed to run the hot food and would be back once we've had a chance to look over the menus. My father in law eats like a child, and knew he only wanted pepperoni when we stumbled upon the place. Our server returned a little over 5 minutes later, to take our order. My father in law barked "Budweiser and pepperoni pizza!" at the server while he was still asking if we had any questions. He explained that they don't have Budweiser and offered a house lager instead. "Fine!" My FIL didn't tell the server, but he loved the beer. He took our order and put it in right there at the table. He came back moments later and gave us plates, napkins, utensils, cheese, peppers, etc. My FIL barks at the server again, "BEER?!" To which he responds "yes sir, I'll be back with drinks next." A few minutes later he returned with our drinks. The smoked old fashion was SO good! We were surprised when our food began arriving shortly after, as we assumed it would take a while, given how busy the place was. The pizza was so tasty, and the crust was surprisingly good too! When the bill came, it was on the little computer. My MIL, who wasn't even paying, insisted on a printed copy. The prices were pretty standard for a tourist area like South Lake. My in laws are not tippers and do not understand the concept of gratuity. Again, not the one's paying the bill. MIL insists on speaking to the manager and who should show up but the sweet smiling hostess/bartender/everything woman. I didn't catch her name, but she let my MIL complain to her about her issues that had either, already been resolved or were not real issues to begin with. We had already paid the tab with Apple pay before she had even requested a paper receipt.

I counted a total of 4 employees while we were there. 2 in the kitchen, our server, and Super Woman!

All this to say we thought you did an amazing job. Please disregard my MIL's complaints. You all were so outnumbered and managed to squeeze us in and take care of...

Yikes. This is one of these worst places I have ever been. This place was more of a club than it was a restaurant and the service was horrible.

Keep in mind this entire review takes place at 6:30 on a Thursday night. The sun was still up when we walked in.

As soon as we walked in there was music playing super loud and drunk college kids screaming at each other and dancing all over the front area. We tried to seat ourselves and were told we had to be sat by the bar tender. After we were sat it took 15-20 minutes for the server to come and take our order. The entire time these drunk college kids are coming up to our table trying to talk to us and just making us uncomfortable. We were just trying to order some dinner. We decided against food and most of us just got drinks so we could get out of this place as soon as possible. The entire time we were there the music just kept getting turned up. The college kids kept served drinks and they just kept getting more aggressive and harassing our table more. At one point they started smoking cigarettes inside and while the bartender told them to stop, when they went outside she opened the door letting in both the cold and the smoke.

When we were leaving one person in my party notified security about the guys who had been harassing us and they said "yeah he's been a problem all night." Well if he's been a problem you should stop serving him and ask him to leave.

This place is advertised as being a restaurant on all platforms, not a dive bar or another establishment where you would expect this kind of behavior.

Besides the college kids making us uncomfortable, the service was also horrible. One of my friends drinks was forgotten about, and other friend ordered a mocktail and it wasn't until we were asking for the check that the server said "oh yeah I forgot to tell you we can't make that". This place is also outrageously expensive. I've spent a lot of time in South Lake, and I've never been somewhere that was charging as much as this place was, especially considering the poor service.

I was looking forward to trying this place and I have been wanting to go to their new location in Reno, but after this experience this is a company I will be...

SERVER TAMPERED WITH MY RECEIPT AND ILLEGALLY ADDED A TIP ONTO MY CARD ON TOP OF A CASH TIP THAT WAS LEFT.

I would like to start by saying that the manager was very nice and helpful and corrected the situation, but I cannot sit back and keep the situation at hand quiet.

I met up some friends around 5:30 pm on 09/02 and bought a round of Casa Azul shots and two drinks. It was a total of 6 drinks for 5 people and nothing else was ordered on my bill outside of that. I asked for my check and wrote "cash" on both copies and filled the total as listed on the receipt. My friend left a $40 cash tip for the our server Trisha, which is 20% of our bill and more than enough for simply walking drinks to us. Well, I was checking my banks statement and transactions throughout the weekend and everything was fine and showed the amounts I paid, until Monday. The amount that was originally listed and pinged to by bank went up $20.

Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy of my receipt because I don't carry a purse and didn't want to carry around receipts. I called on Tuesday when they opened and spoke to the GM and asked her to send me a copy of my receipt. I got a digitized copy (not the one with my signature) right away and clear as day it showed a $20 tip that I and my friends know for a fact I did not leave due to leaving a cash tip. Very apologetic and no questions asked the manager refunded me my money, however, I cannot sit back and let this continue without sharing with the community about what's going on. I hope they addressed this internally because if it happened to me, it's happened to other people and maybe has gone unnoticed.

The place is cool, the food and drinks are good, but when you have dishonest people working and stealing from customers, the rest doesn't really matter. Please be careful and aware of what you're spending and keep an eye on your bank statements cause this can...
