A Mind-Blowing Magical Extravaganza at Harvey's Lake Tahoe!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had the absolute pleasure of attending Alex Ramon Magic's spellbinding performance at Harvey's Lake Tahoe on June 8, 2023, and let me tell you, it was an experience that left me in awe! From start to finish, every moment of the show was filled with wonder, mystery, and mind-boggling magic that defied all logical explanation.
Alex Ramon is undoubtedly a master of his craft. His close-up magic skills were beyond impressive, and I found myself on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating each trick. I must confess, I have no idea how he managed to manipulate reality right before my eyes. His dexterity, quick thinking, and unparalleled showmanship truly showcased his dedication to the art of illusion.
But what truly made the show even more extraordinary was the inclusion of his talented furry companion, MJ. This remarkable dog assistant added an extra layer of charm and entertainment to the performance. The trick where MJ created a cutout art piece was not only adorable but also an incredible display of their undeniable chemistry and teamwork.
One of the most mind-blowing aspects of Alex's repertoire is that he has managed to astonish even the most renowned magicians in the world. It's no surprise that he successfully fooled Penn & Teller on their acclaimed show Fool Us. This speaks volumes about his skill and creativity, as Penn & Teller are known for their discerning eye and expertise in the world of magic.
If you find yourself in the South Lake Tahoe area, I implore you to carve out some time to witness this extraordinary show. Alex Ramon Magic's performance is an absolute must-see for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. Prepare to be amazed, as you'll embark on a journey where the lines between reality and illusion blur into one captivating spectacle.
Not only did Alex deliver an awe-inspiring performance, but his stage presence and interaction with the audience created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. His genuine passion for magic shines through every moment, infecting the entire audience with a sense of wonder and childlike enthusiasm.
The venue at Harvey's Lake Tahoe was a perfect setting for this magical extravaganza. The seating was comfortable, and the stage setup ensured that everyone had an excellent view of the performance. The show was flawlessly executed, and the production quality was top-notch, further enhancing the overall experience.
In conclusion, Alex Ramon Magic's show at Harvey's Lake Tahoe is an absolute delight that will leave you spellbound. Prepare to be amazed, mesmerized, and thoroughly entertained by a magician whose talents know no bounds. Whether you're a seasoned magic enthusiast or simply seeking an evening of enchantment, this show will undoubtedly exceed your expectations. Read moreThis show is great for kids. We saw posters advertising the show with a cute dog so we paid $60 each at the box office to get in. Then, the Maitre'd said we could pay an extra 20 or 25, don't remember, to sit at a booth closer to the stage. The venue is intimate and not worth the upcharge unless you want a greater chance of your kids getting selected to go on stage, although Alex does a great job including the entire audience even in the back portion of the theater. I'm pretty sure he interacted with every kid that was in the audience at our show, but it was not even close to sold out. Another note about the venue, the theater was uncomfortably hot, temperature wise. They were selling typical over priced snacks and drinks with table service. I'm taking a star off this review because on the night we went, MJ the dog did not perform, when all of the advertising for this show lies heavily on his appearance. It is understandable that the dog gets sick days like the rest of us but they should really announce his absence before the show prominently displayed on the box office window or something, so for that lack of communication I'm giving only 4 stars. We chose to see this show over the other magic show in town because of the dog so we were pretty disappointed, but we hope he gets to feeling...
Read moreMore commentary than magic. The dog was cute ( I also have a dachshund mix) but wasn’t a main part of the show and was more of a prop for 3 minutes than anything. Pulling an audience in by thinking a dog was a main focal point is smart though, so props for creative advertising. Maybe 5 magic tricks in total out of the nearly 2 hours and disappointing that his main tricks weren’t performed but rather youtube videos of him doing them were played for the audience. He said he just got back from being on a 6 week tour and didn’t have his props- so showed a clip of the trick from a show.
We saw a magic show in the village a few months back, for less, and it aligned better with what we wanted— three stars because magic is hard and Alex’s card tricks were impressive.
Loss of 2 stars because we paid full price to watch YouTube videos and a few tricks. Ten minutes of the show at the end went to trying to sell us merchandise and the option to host him in our homes during his spring tour, which after all the commentary filler in the show, was just frustrating. He’s likable and if you have kids with you, they’d enjoy it- I don’t think it’s with the $60/ticket for YouTube videos and all the...
