My wife and I ate here before a hockey game. There are casino hotels all around. You could pay to park there and walk to the restaurant. We parked in the parking garage near the Tahoe Blue Events Center. The walk wasn't far. The place was very busy when we walked in. It was the start of the dinner rush. We were quickly seated. When we were leaving, there was a line, and the wait was about 10 minutes. The servers were personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Be aware that the waitresses dress a little risqué. It wasn't off-putting or lewd. Think cleavage and/or tight fitting tops and leggings. That didn't bother my wife or I, but some parents might not want to take younger children. It is a bar and burger joint surrounded by casinos, though, so it isn't out of place or surprising. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. It arrived in a paper cone on a wire metal stand. It came with ranch and cocktail sauce. They were fresh, hot, and crispy. My burger came with BBQ sauce, bacon, and an onion ring on it. It was massive. My wife and equally large burger with avocado on it. I ordered tater tots and my ordered fries. All of the food was tasty, hand-made, and cooked to our request. I like my burger a little pink in the middle, and my wife wants hers thoroughly cooked. We were both happy. Neither of us was able to finish off our burgers. That is not common for me. It wasn't for lack of trying. They make a big burger. The burgers did take longer to arrive than I expected. I think this is because the restaurant was busy and because everything is made fresh. It wasn't a long wait. It just wasn't fast-food, pre-packaged frozen fast. We didn't order drinks. They have a full bar with several signature drinks. The reason I gave the atmosphere a 3 star grade was because of the lack of a defined atmosphere. The interior is dark. There are photos and memorabilia on the walls, but there is so much, and it is hard to see it. There are sports on TVs around the dining area. There was also classic rock/southern rock playing. Between the lighting, the decorations, and all the sound, the atmosphere was just all over the place with no real purpose. It's not a huge deal, just average. I bought a Lucky Beaver on my way out the door. They have merch for sale near the front. Overall, above average in every area with the exception of atmosphere. They make a large, delicious burger. They make appetizers and sides that are made fresh and served hot. It is probably the most cost friendly eatery in the area. If you are going to a hockey game or tired of eating in the casinos, definitely...
Read moreWe were a party of 11, my good friend recommended this place and we decided to give it a good o college try. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:00pm and by the time we sat down and ordered drinks and food it was 9:09pm. Most of the party ordered water with lemon, and I ordered a coke. I didn't quite get our server name she was a bit far from the table. By the time our drinks arrived, it was already 9:45pm. Just for drinks! My coke was absolutely flat and as soon as she dropped off the drinks we never saw our server again until 10:10. There was also no lemons in our water. She came back with a cup of lemon and told us to put it in ourselves. Almost a full hour with just our drinks. Alot of my party guests were very patient, we didn't want to make a fuss, but after we looked for our server, we asked how our food coming along? She completely dismissed us, and I quote, "oh you guys haven't been waiting that long, we're completely busy inside, and its only been 30 min." After she dismissed us, half of the party was getting frustrated, almost hostile. We took a picture before we sat down! We told her no! It's been more than an hour! We sat in the back patio, by the way, there were guest coming after us and was served, ate, paid their bills and left. We noticed numerous people coming and going while our table sat hungry. By this time 10:30pm came around, the first order just arrived. The steak was served cold, our order was wrong, and we were too upset to enjoy the meal. I ordered the tomahawk steak, and it didn't arrive on my table until 10:38pm! From when I ordered it at 9:09pm!!! It literally tasted like salt, pepper, and a gallon of butter. No flavor what so ever, we were too upset to enjoy anything. One gentleman in our group ordered a small thing of chili with a corn on the cob. His order did not arrive until 10:45pm. It was so upsetting. We were big mad. Mind you, we wanted to walk out, but like I stated earlier, most of my party members were patient and hungry. All my life I never experience this kind of service. It would of been different if our server had come back and checked on our table, or told us the truth that she forgot to put in our order. We felt completely neglected and for a family trip, this was the highlight of our vacation. The manager try to give us a very small discount, but we dismissed it and felt it needed to be more due to the fact that it almost got hostile. But all in all, it was a terrible dinning experience, that we wish no one would ever have...
Read moreAdvertised as being open and serving food 24/7.
They accepted an online order around 0330, took payment etc., the online vendor’s platform required you enter your name, email, phone number etc.
They accepted payment, my credit card was charged and they gave me a pickup time of 25-30 minutes from purchase. I have screen shots of everything.
20 minutes later I set out from my hotel and walked a half mile to pick up my food. When I walked in to the bar/restaurant.. it’s hard to even explain how I was treated by two different employees. At best it was as if I had done something wrong by ordering food from their website that advertises that they sell food 24/7, that accepted my payment, that provided me with a pick-up time. A third employee who may have been the shift manager came out to give me a refund, this guy didn’t treat me like I had done something wrong, that’s about all I can say, but when I calmly and politely inquired as to why they both advertised 24/7 food, and accepted my payment if they weren’t serving food, his answer was simply that they shut it down after they received my order. Despite that response not answering my questions, I just said they could have called me in the 30 minutes between me placing the order and walking all the way there, and he said they didn’t have my number. I said they had my number from the order and he just shrugged. He then proceeded to spend more than 5 minutes trying to figure out how to actually provide a refund to my card, which he never was able to do. My credit card was charged for food I was not served. For the record, I have emails confirmations, screenshots, GPS data, credit card data, etc. the most basic polite thing you can do is call someone so they don’t make a trip...
