Panda Express — Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe

very small portions. usually the steak is not fully cooked. prices are also continuously going up. portions are ridiculously small. asking for a grilled chicken and getting one small piece of chicken in my plate etc. if i want panda now i only get it from Carson City. PE in South Lake Tahoe is a joke. Plate with steak + soda comes to almost $15. not worth it, especially in South Lake Tahoe. every time i go half of the food trays are empty and its not even busy. when i went again mid May their NEW wok fried shrimp tray stayed empty for more than 30mins. meanwhile in Carson City NV they have big signs advertising the wok fried shrimp and food trays are always full. might be a better choice to visit a real restaurant where you can get real food for almost the same price. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

The food was okay, we had about 5 choices all together because they were out of EVERYTHING. I asked for chicken teriyaki and she put it in my tray and then mentioned after the fact that they would not be giving me teriyaki sauce because there was none. When I made a comment about why they wouldn't say that from the start the girl slammed her knife and my tray on the counter and yelled at us with the most disgusted look on her face and said "well what else do you want?!" Given that they had no other sides what choice did I really have. The very rude girl in the front was named Ryann. The restaurant in general was dirty and the workers were very unhappy other than one sweet girl that I didn't get to meet but can hear her happy voice helping customers. Everyone else is very unprofessional rolled their eyes, and had attitude with any basic questions. It’s honestly a horrible feeling when you’re starving and get this kind of service. Went on a Wednesday night after church with my mother. We have been locals for a very long time and we always have the panda express in Carson. I decided to give the one here in town a chance. The girl with glasses who was serving was very rude. She was giving us attitude and was throwing our plates as soon as she finished putting food in them, she was rushing even though it was just my mom and I, and two other people behind us. I am giving this basically no stars, because of the attitude that was given to me and my mother, The cashier also had an attitude. I don’t appreciate people who work in a restaurant or a kitchen to give attitude to their customers based on their own problems. Besides that the food was OK but the portions weren’t really great.
