Dairy Queen — Restaurant in South Padre Island

This passed Friday, my boyfriend and I stopped at this Dairy Queen in the evening. My boyfriend ordered a Jr. burger.. When we got our order he took a couple of bites and complained to me that his burger smelled and tasted bad like raw fish, almost. I thought "well, they do have fish sandwiches and things" but these sandwiches are fried. His burger smelled so badly of raw fish that there's no way it could have been just cooked next to the fried fish. So I took it back to the kitchen and asked them kindly if they could make a new burger. Well, 30 minutes had passed and still no burger. I went back inside to ask about it and the employee told me "Oh, they were looking for you but they couldn't find you, so they threw the burger away" I was in disbelief really but I didn't make a big deal. He said they would make another one so I waited about another 20 minutes until FINALLY they brought the other out. By then my boyfriend wasn't even hungry anymore :/ but he did try to eat it and ended up eating about half. Well, later once he got home he started throwing up. He threw up and felt sick all night long and all day the next day. So, in short, this Dairy Queen gave my boyfriend food poisoning. I'm highly disappointed with the quality and overall lack of customer...

Kind of related, but I need to get this off my chest.

I love garlic. A lot. I put a bunch of it in everything I cook. But last night, I made kale and put so much garlic in it, it was maybe 30% kale, 20% onion, 50% garlic.

I had my usual night farts, but when I lifted the covers...my god. It was such a strong scent of pure garlic, which is where it got weird because I love the smell of garlic. Then I checked downstairs and it smelled of garlic. So I took a shower, now my loofa smells like garlic!

I’m not sure what I did to my body last night, but I think I’m going to do it again tonight. I just needed to share this with someone.

Update: Just pooped. Work bathroom now reeks of...

Visiting the area so won't come back for a while but the only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is because the cashier was nice and doing a great job..... The food should have come with gravy when we opened the containers it was ranch and only a quarter full....ok...no problems people make mistakes..... My husband took those to the front and the cashier was very apologetic....the cook however looked at my husband like he was the problem and did not care....when the containers got back to the table we noticed gravy was just placed on top of the ranch and slightly mixed in..... Who wants to eat ranch mixed with gravy!! We didn't even want to deal so we...
