Today was my first experience, it was horrible. I didn't even get to order. There was no other customer waiting to order when I arrived at the counter. Christine the general manager and another gentleman was cleaning and moving some items to the back. They did not acknowledge my presence. At this time another customer strolled up and she was promptly acknowledged by Christine and she was asked if she was ready to order. I was flabbergasted, upset and felt degraded. I walked away to calm down. When I went back I asked why I was treated that way. Christine was rude and had this condescending smirk on her face. The best pizza in the area and one of the best lobster rolls. I came all the way from Washington, DC and this was my first dining experience in Maine. The service was excellent except for the tall, goofy white dude at the register. He almost caused me to walk away. The manager was excellent and even prepared my lobster roll herself. There was also a young Black lady there with glasses. If I had a restaurant of my own, I would've given her a job on the spot! Her customer service skills...
