I just ( finally) left this place. I haven't finished my meal yet, but I thought I would take the time to leave a review now. It isn't like my food is going to get any colder. The wait in line at the drive-thru was long and agonizing. Others fell to the way side, but I was determined to stick it out. (I did take the outside lane because I have been to this McDonalds before.) It took a large amount of our time, but we finally got our food. I will start with the positive. They got the order correct. Kudos for putting the right crap in the bag! After the long wait, I thought at least the order would be fresh. I was so wrong. My husband handed me a fry before we left the parking lot. It was cold and rubbery. I was so disappointed. Cold McDonalds fries suck, and these sucked badly. I had the Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese. I thought they left the bacon off, but it was hiding under a pickle. (Yes, it could hide under a pickle it was that small.) I eventually found another scrawny piece under the half piece of cheese on the burger. The other half piece was there. It just wasn't on the burger. I can imagine it was trying to save itself from drowning in the insane amount of ketchup that this mess was drenched in. There was no sign of any mustard. To top it off, it must have been sitting out for as long as the fries because it was cold as well. We got a 10 piece chicken nuts for our Great Pyreneese because he is the best boy. They weren't hot, but they weren't as cold as the fries and burger. He only got 2 because our fries sucked so bad. He isn't happy. The fish sandwich my husband got was...well a fish sandwich. Nothing special. Wasn't bad, wasn't good. The only reason I was here, because I knew better, was that the other McDonalds was closed for some reason. I knew this McDonalds tucked from our 4 earlier visits. They are consistent. Consistantly bad, serving cold food that doesn't get eaten. The rest of this is going in the garbage. Avoid this one people. It isn't...
Read moreThey are very rude and very slow. Seems every night they only except cash. Tonight was one of the worse nights I experienced with them. Nick the guy taking orders puts me on hold for 11 minutes then finally speaks at the speaker and says sorry for the wait and nothing else so I said are you ready for my order and he says no ma'am we only have two employees working so I work at a restarant I could understand except this location has a clear glass where you can see there line and I clearly seen more than two. So he goes ahead to proceed with the order and he ask me to repeat it so I do then in the middle of it he says repeat that again so I do then it's silent so I say did you get my order and he says no repeat it so I say really for the third time then get this a woman is turning the menu to something else or something so I ask are you the manager and she says Yea and I said can I get some other help because he is just rude and instead of helping she just keeps saying Nick is not rude so I ask for general manager and he says she is there then as I'm looking at her name tag she pulls her shirt and says Hiedi is my name if That's what your trying to look at and I say wow even the manager is rude and she says I'm pray for you boo and tries to walk off so I said thanks you do that and she comes back to my car and says I will write your tag down and call the cops so I laugh and say you will call the cops because your employee was rude and now you are so I told her write tag down I'll sit here while you do and I'm gone make sure I speak to a manager over your manager because I work in a restaurant and I would never treat a customer that way even if they were wrong and I drove up and got the number off the door and drove to the hornlake location which is also backed up and I have been sitting at the box long enough to write this and still no one has...
Read moreI typically avoid posting reviews unless I feel it is truly necessary, but after several disappointing experiences at this location, I believe feedback is warranted.
Unfortunately, this McDonald’s has consistently struggled with accuracy, timeliness, and customer service. On multiple visits, I have received incorrect orders, and when issues arose, management did not appear responsive or engaged. A particularly frustrating example was when I ordered several hash browns separately; despite the simplicity of the order, I was asked to pull forward and then waited over 10 minutes, only to receive items that were neither hot nor complete.
Additionally, basic items such as napkins or straws are often missing unless specifically requested, and even then, the response from staff can feel dismissive. While most of the front-line employees seem to be doing their best within the circumstances, it appears that management oversight and processes are the root cause of these recurring issues.
From a quality standpoint, the food itself can be satisfactory when the order is correct and timely, but too often items are missing or delayed, making it difficult to enjoy the meal as intended. For this reason, I would rate the food experience as 1 star, the service as 2 stars, and the atmosphere as 1 star, primarily due to the lack of attentiveness and professionalism.
I have attempted to contact the store and corporate offices in the past but have not received any response. It is my hope that this location takes the feedback seriously and works toward improving management accountability, customer service, and basic order accuracy. McDonald’s is a trusted brand, and customers should be able to expect consistency and care at...
