KFC — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

Here’s how our visit to the drive up went today: Us: Hi. We only need 4 pieces of chicken. What is the cheapest way to do this? KFC: just ordering the pieces. Us: okay we’ll take that. 2 legs, 2 thighs please. KFC: okay. Please pull to the window. as we pull forward we notice a sign in the window. $4.99 for a 2 piece meal. We get to the window. KFC: total is $11.75 (approx) Us: we see you have a special for a 2 piece meal. Would it be cheaper to get the chicken that way? KFC: Oh, just get the 4 piece combo then. Us: okay. KFC: that will be $13.25 (approx) Us: I thought you said that would be cheaper. KFC: but you don’t get a drink with just chicken. Us: we asked the cheapest way to just get 4 pieces of chicken. KFC: employee in the back That’s not what you asked for. Us: that’s exactly what we asked for. Then we asked about the 2 piece combo for $4.99 KFC: But that doesn’t include a drink. Us: at this point we were just thinking whatever. Just give us the 4 piece combo. We pay for that and they hand us the food. Another employee comes over to say we didn’t mention just wanting chicken. And we start telling them all over again we only wanted to know the cheapest way to get just 4 pieces of chicken. KFC: manager comes to window closes drive up window while we were still asking a question and walks away. 1 star is too many. Unhelpful and argumentative employees and...

Food: Tasted like KFC. It is a pretty consistent food experience across restaurants and this one is like any other. I arrived at the tail end of a rush in which the staff fell behind and I was given two breasts and a wing rather than whatever I was supposed to get. I was not disappointed. I was disappointed, however, that my son's macaroni and cheese was absolutely disgusting. The cheese sauce was liquid and did not even stick to the mushy, overcooked noodles. It's hard to find mac and cheese that a toddler refuses to eat.

Service: With fast food you have lowered expectations in general. The young man who took my order was unusually pleasant, smiled, and was very polite.

Restaurant: I was disappointed that the men's room did not have a changing table. I generally am not shy about going into the women's restroom to check in there, but there were quite a few people in the dining room, so I contained myself. Let's get with the times. Although the quality of this particular KFC has gone down a lot over the last 2 years and prices have gone up 🆙, it’s still a decent place to stop for fast food if you’re in a rush.i would give 3.

Today, (March 7th, 2022) at 2:17 P.M., I had to wait 30 minutes for a new pot pie 🥧 to be cooked. I was told the car in front of me just purchased the last 2. However, I would think the manager would stay on top of this especially in the middle of the the afternoon on a Saturday (03/07/22) and considering there were only 3 customers who showed up the entire 33 minutes I was there. I understand things happen, so I’m still giving this KFC a solid 3 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

Hopefully, the quality of food will return back to how it used to be in the past and NOT continue to be (overcooked, slightly cold, and obviously cooked several hours prior to ordering) as its been the last 7-8 times I’ve gone here the last year.
