When we first walked in, 2 employees came out and stood whispering for 5 minutes before 1 went back to the back and the other just....listed all the things they were out of. Then when I asked for bread, that hadn't been mentioned, he said they never had it. Even though it was listed as one of their breads. Then he toasted my sandwich and just left it until he had fully made my husband's sandwich so that mine was cold and hard by the time I got it. As we were paying, the employee pulled out his phone and talked to us while he texted. I'm pretty sure our order has been at least slightly messed up whenever we go to this location. Once, they just gave us slightly warm cookie dough instead of a cookie! I don't know what's going on with this location, but they're always out of half their stuff and the employees all seem like they'd rather be pulling out their own fingernails than be at work and aren't very good at hiding it. He passed me off to an older gentleman at the register who was very kind. I sat and ate my food in the corner, while I did so the two employees went right back to prepping and making sure the shop looked good. It was so saturated with mayo that he had a hard time finishing it, and ultimately ended up feeling sick. I don't blame him, yuck!
My sandwich, on the other hand, was pretty perfect. The staff is not the friendliest and it was hard to understand them with masks on - I am sure that it is frustrating for everyone involved - but still... we're all trying to get through it so we should try to have a decent attitude towards customers... just going to throw that out there. It's almost like masks allow staff to be rude because no one can see a full facial expression. Hint: You can still tell in the tonality of the voice. ...
