I and my family checked out of Palm Casino at 11am on 10 Dec 2023 . We decided to eat at one of the restaurants inside the Casino before we drive back to Los Angeles. We all wanted to eat at the Send Noodles. The kitchen was open to the customers and there was space to sit in front of the kitchen like a bar. We ordered 2 Pho at $22each. the Seafood Kimchi Noodle at $28 and the Shrimp Pad Thai - $23. The condiment for the Pho was served first. I noticed that Mint and Bean sprouts were old and withered, lime was old and hardly any juice. I didn’t say anything at first because I don’t really use them in my Pho. Then the Seafood Kimchi Noodle Soup came next and looked yummy. Then the Pad Thai served to my wife. The Pad Thai tasted burned and no peanut taste at all. She asked it to be replace. Then the chef came out irate and yelling at his helpers in Chinese. He was throwing dishes around the kitchen. The noise he made was so loud and right out obnoxious. I guess he was upset that he had to cook another Pad Thai again. It was so bad that we did feel comfortable Then our Pho served to me and my granddaughter. There was a little soup in my Pho , asked for a little more soup and I shocked there was a charge. I told the waitress that there was enough soup to begin with, I told them I did not want the Pho anymore after they passed around my Pho to Angry Chef and Manager. I said I will order something else. I couldn’t make a choice because of the ruckus the chef was causing. I asked to pay the bill because we lost appetite with banging and yelling. My daughter ate only half of the Seafood Kimchi Noodle Soup and asked for to go container and so did my wife. I paid the total bill minus one Pho. I was glad for that. We left the Casino disappointed. In about an hour of driving back, my daughter started vomiting the Seafood Kimchi Noodle Soup. She was throwing up on and off after the first big regurgitation for another hour and so. When we arrived home, we threw all the food that we took out into the garbage. This must be so unpleasant dining experience we all ever had. I tried to call Send Noodles, the phone rang and rang. No one answered. I then called Palm Casino and left a message the person who manage the restaurants inside the Casino. I left a message on voice mail but no return call. I just wanted the Casino to know that Send Noodles is serving spoiled food. I heard the Palm advertising that all their restaurants served good gourmet food. I...
Read moreVacationing in Las Vegas. Went to Send Noodles located in The Palms Hotel and Casino on Easter Sunday because other restaurant we wanted to try had a 90 minute wait list. Hostess said wait was about 30 minutes for 3 people; however wait was over 60 minutes. Place is small with a counter and less than 10 tables. We were finally seated and waited about 5 minutes before server greeted us. Granted, it looked like there were only 2 servers which included our server. We ordered 2 appetizers. The tempura green beans and salt and pepper calamari. The tempura green beans were tasty. However, it looked like they placed the green beans in the batter and then deep fried because the beans were stuck together and some were not completely battered. It tasted like it was not deep fried long enough because it was not as crispy as we would like. Had to cut them to eat them. We ordered the chicken chow fun, singapore noodles and the oxtail soup which was their Sunday special. They have a a special for each day of the week. The best meal was the oxtail soup with carrots. Broth was light and not salty. It came with 2 large pieces, 3 medium pieces and several small pieces of oxtail. A bit fatty, but cooked well. The meat was fork tender and pulled off the bone with ease. We ordered a side dish of noodles to add to the soup. The chicken chow fun had plenty of chicken which was cooked well. Tender and not dry. Noodles were tasty and not overcooked. It was a bit greasy though. The singapore noodles had plenty of shrimp and BBQ pork. Not too spicy which is the way I like it. You can ask them to cater the spiciness to your taste. This dish was tasty as well. There are other Asian restaurants you can try first before going to...
Read moreI have been by here a couple times and usually it seems to be about half full . Today I was at the Palm's briefly and decided to get the Chicken Lettuce Wraps to go . Just something quick to eat for lunch at home . They were $14 and it had a good amount of ground chicken with spices and mushrooms , about 6 lettuce leaves , some crunchy white noodles , and what was supposed to be peanut sauce , but was a hot sauce , and 2 packets of soy sauce and napkin with plastic spoon , fork , and knife .
Only took about 10 minutes for my order and the host was nice . Got home and was very disappointed with the taste . I get Chicken Lettuce Wraps at several Asian restaurants and this was probably the second worst I have had . Since they gave me a hot sauce instead of peanut sauce , I had some oyster sauce in my refrigerator that I could add a little to , to make it taste a little more appetizing . I just read a bunch of other reviews that had complaints of to salty and other stuff . Mine wasn't too salty , but just kind of bland and ingredients seemed to taste a little old maybe . It just didn't taste right . It's a shame because the old Asian restaurant they had at the Palm's by the tattoo shop was great ! I can't really see myself coming here again or recommending since I see so many complaints . I know I only had one item , but it seems to be a pattern . Hopefully they get their...
