Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Springdale

Everyone knows Braums from the giant neon ice-cream cone signs. Well they do have ice cream, including floats and shakes and malts, cones, you name it. They have their own brand of ice cream which you can buy by the scoop, like Baskin-Robbins, and they also sell their ice cream in tubs. We're talking a daunting array of flavors here. And yeah, it is really good.

They also have an American cafe menu, which is burgers and things like that. I got the double meat bacon cheeseburger all the way, and it and the fries were fabulous. My son and I each got the large Burger with fries and a drink and we each also got a chocolate malt, which was $22 with tax. That was one of the best malts I've ever had, and in case you haven't noticed, a lot of people selling shakes do not make malts anymore; unbelievable but true.

The store also has a shopping section, where you'll find many tubs of Braum ice cream, and you can also buy milk, produce and much more. So you can go in and have a great meal or get some great ice cream and also do some light shopping for things that you need to pick up like veggies and fruit. Ingenious setup.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We stopped by tonight & it was disgusting. I ordered a cone & the girl told me she would have to go to the back for the ice cream, she proceeded to lay down my cone on the back counter & went for the ice cream. Even if it was sparkly clean, you don't lay down food on a counter people are going to consume. But to make matters worse, their counter was gross! There were NINE staff members, yet it was disorganized every where you looked. They had 2 ice cream boxes set on the back counter dripping as it was thawing. There were banana peels laid in a pile instead of the trash, most had been there long enough to turn black. The toppings were messy & were slopped over their containers. There was trash laid here & there as if everyone forgot how to throw away trash. And ice cream splattered all over on the back counter. The staff looked just as gross as the back counter. Ice cream splatters, loose hair spilled around face (it's called a hairnet-use it!) & tired faces. I did not wait for my cone, after I realized the mess, we left. I used to like braums when Brittany was managing it. I don't know who the manager is now but your service sucks! This is twice this week. The other night I went with a few friends to get ice cream. Not only did it take them 10 min to eve A KNOWLEDGE we were there, it took them another 5 min to even see us. And one of the girls had a really bad attitude. And the manager is the one that served us. Not only were they not wearing their hats, HE TOUCHED HIS HAIR BEFORE TOUCHING OUR FOOD!!!!!! Not only unperfessional but DISGUSTING! And then tonight, me and a friend sat in drive thru for 10 min before they said anything to us, but we could hear them talking to each other through the mic! And even then my friend had to say "um, hello?" Before they said anything to us! And when I got my food it was barely warm! I'm a hairstylist and deal with customers all day, every day and I know what customer service is supposed to be. I also used to work at this specific location and it was never this bad with its service! I will no longer come to this location! And ALWAYS remember the word of the mouth can really hurt a business!
